Very simple reason: The stripclubs in SD (and all of CA) don't have anything to offer feature performers. No touch "lap" dances, no booze with your full nudes, six foot rule, etc.
"Porn Stars" need a place and a reason to come do an act, feature performance, etc. In SD you can't even advertise in the local newspapers.
So, much better places to travel to. Florida, Texas, Vegas.
