I think that the "rip-off" label, which agreed is richly deserved, was removed because Austin is now willing (grudgingly) to give a handjob. At least, this was indicated in the latest reviews.
You have to remember that, in the Austin/Bridget world, giving a handjob is like a gfe.
Also, Austin may have complained directly to staff about her rip-off status. I seem to recall the Austin/Bridget tag-team threatening to sue Southcoast VIP if they didn't allow them to advertise.

Yes, that indeed is the problem. If Austin/Bridget/Skye/Mandy etc. would simply advertise as "dancers" instead of "escorts", then no one on this board would have any complaint.
I don't think this misrepresentation is simply about the extra money that they "earn" from hobbyists. Pretty much everytime they go into a session, they know there is the possibility of a confrontation, certainly verbal but maybe even violent. My guess is that the confrontation is as important to them as the extra money. This would indicate a rather deep-seated hatred towards men - otherwise why take such chances.
You also have to remember that life isn't working out well for these girls. Bridget and Austin were early to ride the dot-com explosion with their pay websites, and had visions of becoming instant "millionaires." With the subsequent dot-com implosion and a plethora of girl-on-the-web sites, they've had to scale back their business plans, probably relying more on their "cash-and-dash" day jobs to make expenses. If the latest TER reviews are accurate, Austin relenting to give surly hand-jobs may be a reflection of their hard times.
The best part of writing these "op-ed" pieces is the certain knowledge that these girls will be reading it. The very first review posted in San Diego on TER was for Bridget, and it gave incredibly high marks (FS / DATY - you name it). The bizarre part was that the reviewer was listed as "Staff". Needless to say, a multitude of real reviews came in, and Bridget was moved to the "rip-off" category. Also, B & A occasionally try to insert bogus reviews.
