How about the feminists, the Clergy and all the well meaning concerned and beyond reproach citizens that attend city counsel meetings on a regular basis? I don't know maybe some of the ardent fired up ladies in attendance are so pissed-off because their old man has been or, is getting some strange on the side or, they're worried about that happening. We as a society, have always had our heads up our asses regarding SEX/MORALITY. Any old kind of SEX. We all know that.
If you recall, LE and the Jaded Citizenry used to be oh so concerned about something similar to this kind of thing bringing the BAD Elements into the neighborhoods. Therefore, they scoffed at the term "victimless Crime", as if it were a crime (as it is on the books straight out of Salem). Now they're after this thing because (as stated in the KUSI News Piece) "it is dangerous". Okay! We're in the cyber neighorhood (but, oh, we must meet for it to be dangerous) I feel like Indiana Jones now!
Now, if all of us swashbucklers in the communities throughout this country would just get together and form a political block, and apply political pressure to repeal some of these Victorian Era Laws, then that would take LE off the easiest fun games that they enjoy so much. Damn what a headache. There's also the smoking issues, the porn issues, the you're too close dancing issues, the same sex issues, the natural or unnatural herbal issues, on and on. You know what? I'm sure there are more of us than them! Viva La Libertine?
But, you also know, all that ain't gonna happen either. Who wants to stick their face out? Are'nt we so ashamed! whom among us wants to be a star! Ah! The Pussy Posse WILL ALWAYS be out to get us. In the meantime, let us come up with better ways to avoid LE. Anyone for Chess? Only problem is we are in the defense.
Somehow we need to develope an offense and then a better offense for all us. For example, how about a news breaking scandel that exposes our finest for really not being so fine (some of the ladies have to know who they are) and, how about those in positions of political authority, who also just happen to really enjoy this kind of thing as well, being gently persuaded to steer LE in more important directions. ENOUGH AlREADY!!!
Unfortunately, it seems the LE has decided to put down their donuts and start a sweep. First came the recent massage parlor bust and now KUSI ran a segment how prostitution has gone "high tech" and online in San Diego. The piece ran the night of April 28...did anyone see it? Although it didn't mention it by name, the segment showed screenshots of both San Diego Exotics and TER (congrats for the free publicity TER...any publicity is...).
As we all know (or should know) by now, the piece on KUSI also mentioned how hard working Vice cops are also members of the TER community
Although the KUSI piece made mention of how the TER website operates...going so far as to mention how providers whom are deemed "Rip-offs" have their own area on the website.
More than likely, this increased police activity is a result of either.
1. A high ranking political figure (mayor, city council member, etc.)is trying to shore up support for a re-election.
2. Somebody's palm didn't get greased thoroughly enough...someone is sending someone else a message.
3. The outgoing Chief (or perhaps his incumbent) is tring to make a good last/first impression.
Either way, it sure would be nice if the LE members of the board broke their silence and told us which one of these is the reason...I'll give you a donut.

Of COURSE its BS. I was a criminal defense attorney & prosecutor for too long to know that the cops/prosecutor feel they have to kow tow to the sensationalistic element.
Driving a car is more dangerous than this stuff.
