Will the Sodomy thing the Sup Ct. overthrew affect us?

This morning on cnn I saw that the Sup Ct made sodomy
legal.  Said something about our right to privacy in
our own homes.  Will this in any way affect the
prostitution laws?
I like to think that I help relationships, not hurt
them.  If the general population of civilian women
felt that way, do you think the laws would change
much easier?
Just curious to hear other opinions on the subject.

For one thing, I never understood why there was even an anti-sodomy law anywhere to begin with.  If someone wants to enter the exit door, why not fucking let 'em.  Besides, who's gonna be actively searching for butt-pirates anyway?

I don't think it will have an effect as the Court's decision only dealt with a Texas statute which made sodomy illegal between the same sexed partners. California does not have a similar statute, as far as I know. I guess that is why the other states call us "buggers."

It merely throws out the possibility of you being charged with "sodomy" as a crime (if busted while doing anal I suppose) *in addition* to prostitution.

I guess it probably evens the playing field in terms of female and male pro's - where the males might be be charged with an additional offense in some states if caught in the act.

Otherwise, all it really says is the state can't tell you what you can and can't do sexually - however, they (unfortunately) can still say you can't do it for money.

PS: I'm not a lawyer or anything.  You should probably check-out the legal discussion board for better information.

but it won't.

People are still in denial about the meaning of the 9th Amendment.

i'm not a lawyer or even very smart, but i for some reason had the idea that alot of the "sodomy laws" had a diferent definition of sodomy than just anal intercouse. kind of a through back to what the church has defined sodomy as over the years...
(in some cases anything that is not missonary...)  i think i got this from a TLC or history channel show. any one else know about that?
oh and if i have made a complete jack ass with any of my statments dont bother telling me i already know.
