Let's see here.  One fella without reviews highlights a new face, and another without reviews vouches for her.

I do understand your suspicions Ventana, and I applaud you for them. You are a wise individual, as one can never be too cautious in this sort of environment; both players at this game are equally vulnerable these days. Therefore, I take no offense at your comments. Contrary, to what you may believe, I am not a a LE officer in search of a bust. Furthermore, I personally can't stand the motherf**kers. Now, with that said, let me address the lack of reviews linked to my alias. I have no reviews simply because I have not seen any one to review. The lady in the link caught my attention as I was perusing the selection at SDX, that is all. She looks fairly attractive and young, and I was just wondering if the ad was germaine.

Nctyguy seems to suggest that she is genuine. So, now the question becomes: is nctyguy genuine? Well it seems as though he is, given the many extensive posts that he has posted on the LA board. I don't know??? Got to go now, be back later!

What I really like about the people in San Diego is how you look at everything from a negative prespective.  I made a decision at the beginning not to review unless it was either a rip off, very iffy session or down right scary. I went through a few of those before I stumbled onto this site about 1.5 years ago. I went through about four in a row and was ready to give this hobby up all together. Why pay several hundred to watch some girl come over and dance while you have to service yourself or get quoted one price and find out that is to just show up and the a la carte menu includes items way above the funds you have on you.

For over a year now, I have been primarily going to Los Angles for fun. I ocassionally post comments on the LA board as the topics are more interesting and the board more active. I was willing to take one for the team locally and this time got lucky. I was hoping to find something closer to home where I did not have to plan a day to a week in advance and fight with traffic. Sometimes after the drive home from LA I felt that I needed to see a provider before going to bed.

You can take my word for it or not, I do not really care.  As for the fee call her and find out, it falls in the normal range.  As for service, read between the lines.  I was very happy. I do not think I am going to spell out to everyone on a public board what that exactly means if you do not know.  I never discussed with her whether she wanted to be reviewed or not or even knew of TER.  If I was trying to sell you a bad product I would not have put a so so comment in my first response.

I gladly pay for my VIP membership.  Yes I like the info I get from this site, but I also do not think that the reviews have to be as graphic as they need to be to be posted.  All I can say she was not a rip off for me, I was happy enough to go back, but as always YMMV, as it has with me.  I have seen many providers that did not do for me what was stated by several of the reviews that I read.  Some I chose to see because of what was said to be offered.

Maybe the difference in performance is because I am not some young fit, thick haired, long dicked guy that can get it for free just by going to a bar, buying a drink and starting a conversation. The other reason might be that some of these reviews are not as truthful as they might be and some of you guys just want to pound your chest. Believe me when she says she never did that with a client before, she probably has done it with me already, and I am the fat, middle aged guy with hair that is growing on most parts of my body except the top of the head, where it is falling out. Yes God does have a sense of humor.

Somedays I feel like I couldn't get laid in a whore house with a fist full of hundreds, as many of the local talent do not seem to want to return phone calls or only want to deal through e-mails. To all of you providers that may have made it this far, this is an impulse business, when us guys are in the mood we are in the mood now, not tomorrow, not next week, now. Some guys may have a limited amount of money or time which they can allocate to this hobby. I have much greater freedom in both of those categories and it is still frustrating.  I always thought this hobby was to relieve frustration not cause it. I appreciate any woman that will spend time with me and especially those that go all the way with me.

I would like TER to just go to a simple number rating system that people would adhere to. Much of what you are reading in the members only details is grossly embelished if it even happened at all. If we went to a pass fall type system, above or below a minimum threshold, I would gladly participate in reviewing those I have seen.

So at this point you can either believe me or you are back at square one and you can take one for the team.  If I would have posted a review and it was my first we would be in the same place.  San Diego wake up try some new talent, either that or go to TJ or learn to take the long drive with me to LA. Otherwise the potentially good new talent will go elsewhere.  For an area with our population we do not seem to have the best selection as it is, which gives the rip offs a better chance to survive as we all need it really bad sometimes.

Way too many of my old favorites have either moved or gotten out of the business as it is. I like to find a provider that is worth going back to. As for me it gets better the more comfortable we are with each other and what really turns each other on. The sex is enough strain on my aging heart, I do not have to go through the cloak and dragger routine to add nervous tension to the mix. I also like some interesting conversation before and after the physical action.  For those of you into the LA action and board, yes I have taken the drive north several times to see the intellectual French lady and will continue to do so.

Sorry for being so long, especially as you skeptics are not going to believe me anyways. All I can say is she might not be a 9 or 10, but you will probably feel you got a good value unless you are use to street action.

from a psychological perspective i hope your little rant helped! from a practical perspective i strongly suggest you re-read what you wrote . . .and then hopefully, it will come to you. ter's value derives from individuals, such as you, who contribute information both good and bad. simply put without this information there is no ter, tbd, etc., and thus, no resource for information pertaining to our little hobby. another point you might consider is, that only in math do two negatives contribute a positive. if you want to see changes become involved  - contribute!

It was late at night after a hard work day and once you start you just keep rolling.  I feel most of us are a little sensitive when our honor and/or motives are questioned.  It has happened to me in work and in life several times, when I have given good advice and the client or friend ignores it and then comes back to me. Now I have to try to fix a bad situation that they made even worse.

As I stated. I would gladly contribute reviews to TER once we get away from the locker room mentality of how reviews should be written and the chest pounding. All I need is the basic lay of the land and from there it should be my decision. We should not be acting like pimps to increase the volumes of the providers, unless you are the pimp and getting a cut of the action. I have seen many providers get one or two stunning reviews and all of a sudden there is a line beating a path to her door and by the time most of us get there the price goes up or she is no longer taking new clients.

I am almost certain that LE is not able to admit the reviews in court because of the source is uncertain and the material unreliable, basicaly hearsay information. But it can sure make their job easier.  Why go after a very low volume provide when you can hit a high volume one, which may keep records and they a greater possibility of netting a high profile figure in the process that they can use to information to their advantage. A provider that has in the reviews that she is easy to set an appointment with and doesn't ask too many questions. When the reviews virtually direct them to an incall location or hotel room number, so LE does not have to waste time figuring out if she is in their jurisdiction or not.

In the old days you could tell by the phone prefix where a person was located, but with cell phones and pagers, I cannot figure out where a provider is located anymore.  I recently called a person that I thought was local, same area code a few towns away, and then saw a long distance phone charge on my bill. My first thought was I never called that town so it must be an error on the bill. It finally dawned on me who the call was to by rechecking the add. This hobby is easy prey when LE is forced into it, to increase arrest numbers or to placate a certain politician, some so called morality group or a neighborhood.

I would be much happier if we kept it to simple phrases that we all should know what it means. I have gone to well reviewed providers with high expections and had by most standards a great session. However, I went away disappointed because my session was not as good as others, again YMMV. It may be bad day for her, for me, or maybe we just did not hit it off as well as the other guy. You have my personal description from before, which may contribute.

Without the details provided in those reviews I would have left happy, because I was given what I came there for.  All I need to know is the provider a rip off, hardly worth your time or provides an acceptable level of service. Guys a HJ does not get anyone more than a 6, even if she switches hands or rubs your balls, and I have seen 8s and 9s in reviews for this level of service.

Until there is some sort of change to the way TER requires in depth details, I will gladly buy my membership and provide my knowledge and experiences to topics I feel I can contribute to or answer a specific question to which I may or think I know the answer to.

I have been in this hobby since 1986 and have done some dumb things along the way, as noted in some of my LA responses. I have also had some really great times and those are what keeps me coming back as well as the hope that the next session will be the best I have ever had and wouldn't mind if they found me dead, naked on a bed with the big silly ass grin on my face.

Between this hobby and strip clubs I hate to think how many houses I have helped pay for, cars, vacations, educations, tit jobs, raising kids of single mothers and some not so single. These are good things and we both got something from it. I am also sure I have helped buy drugs for addicts, booze for alcoholics, supported dead beat boyfriends or owners of services, and put myself at health risks.

Friends this can be a bitter sweet hobby, so let us play safe, be kind to each other and hopefully someone will take my advice see this provider write a review which backs my postion. Hopefully you will believe me after my first post and not have to read through these long ass rebutals. It is election season so it is either read my posts which I try to say the truth or listen to political adds or debates where little if anything is the truth.

Personally, I didn't even read the last post, and gave up half way through the other one. So, If I cvver something that has already been addressed, I'm sorry. I just don't understand why a member, any member, does not post reviews. We are supose to be here to help each other out. Many hobbyists get "a smile on their face" as a result of a hand job. With no previous reviews, none of know if you prefer a hj,bj or fs. It's nothing personal mind you, but some of would like to know what she does provide. You can still be vague. And as far as the rates go, they range from $$-$$$ in the area. Heck! Now I'm just getting flustered thinking about it. Are her prices normal for fs,a bj, or a massage and hj?
    This is just my opinion . It's just one of those things that I will probably never understand. This post was not meant to insult anyone. Just my 2 cents.

You seem fairly strong in your convictions about not posting reviews, which is commendable.  However, IMHO, it would also be commendable to help out other hobbyists by contributing to the knowledge base.  It sounds like you've had plenty of experiences that may be beneficial to uninformed hobbyists.

I've only been in the hobby a little over a year and I don't hobby as much as I would like to or as much as some here do.  But I do value the information found here and in the reviews enough to feel that I should also contribute what little I can in return.

The reviews are worth only so much and should be taken cautiously and one should also consider the reviewers, but combined with information from the boards and from fellow hobbyists, it makes it easier to avoid possible unsatisfying encounters.

I agree that the lurid details necessary to post reviews may be difficult for some, but perhaps there is some comfort zone there where one can post useful reviews without sounding like a story lifted from Penthouse Forum or one is comfortable with what one is writing.

Disclaimer: This message is not directed at gumby007 or anyone in particular that has thus far posted comments in this thread.  This is just a good response slot with the way this thread is leading.

Different persons have different views and sensibility.  It is better to take whatever form fellow members decided to contribute and thank those that you have benefited from their contributions, be they messages posted on the boards or reviews kept in the TER database.

I have posted 25+ reviews using my TER handles in the last 7 months.  When I decided to participate in the discussion boards, a decision was made to use an alias to post my messages so that my point of views are judged by its content and not be affected by reviews I have posted.  Doing so does present me with problem of credibility with regards to my knowledge of the ladies.  I understand that and have tried to use 3rd party info to illustrate my points.  I believe nctyguy has contributed quite a number of interesting messages in LA boards (21 posts from 2/20/2002 to 10/5/2002) to show that he is not a trivial person.

I have been considering the question of what are the important contributions a member can give in the TER community.

My current answer is:

4. Posting messages on the board (Give advices and info to fellow members; and occasionally a thoughtful prospective on other matters)

3. Posting reviews.  (Provide road maps to fellow members on ladies)

2. Take One For The Team.  (IMO, exposing ROBs therefore helping fellow members to avoid them is the primary function of a review site)

1. Being a paid member.  (Without membership dues, TER will have problem providing the forum for all these wonderful services)

To tell the truth I do not normally post reviews. When I definately post is when 1. No prior reviews for provider  2. Provider is Rip Off  3. Provider had only a few reviews 4. Provider offers something more or radical change in services. I feel no need to flog a dead horse. For example, if a provider has 15 to 30 reviews I see no reason to add any information. I trust my bretheren have hit all areas by then and I would rather not draw any more attention to a provider for LE. I some cases in LA where agencies are not necessaryly a bad thing. I would rather not attract any more attention to the agency to get busted. These are just my personal rules that I try to follow, as always there are exceptions.
