To forestall any possible misunderstanding, he makes his money from advertising, not hobbyists checking out the info on the site.  I'd never recommend a pay site, period!

Found this somewhere in my surfing.  If you're looking for some action from out of town, at least some of the providers planning a visit post here.

Thanks Dionisios!  I am an ex-hobbiest and the creator of VE.  I created it for all the other hobbiests so that they get advance notice of when someones coming to a city.  The worst thing that would always happen to me is that I would find out tooo late and the provider would be booked.  Anyway, this is my attempt to help fellow hobbiests, while possibly making a little money at it.

1.  Where do I get contact info?  (For example, I couldn't find contact info on Lusty Licia who is advertising to come to San Diego.)

2.  Does VE screen for rip off artists?  Are we protected from Bridgette's New York cousin coming to San Diego to visit?

My fellow hobbiests!

To answer linguists questions:

1. Most providers have contact info in the contact box.  If they dont - let us know so we can get it for you.

2. We have a pretty good network of providers that we know (mostly from past personal experiences), who help us on content.  So to answer your question a different way; 'YES' we do screen.  Our intent is to provide the most accurate, legit info to hobbiests.  Remember - I used to be a hobbiest myself.

ALSO:  Please let us know what you like and what you don't like.  You can email me directly at [email protected].  I would really love to get some feedback.  Thanks everyone who has responded!
