...is there anything else I can do other than clearing my cache and history to prevent someone else (my roommate)from seeing where I've been? I think 90% of you guys know what I mean. Any help would be great.

You can upgrade to windows 2000 which has a better password set up.

You can set it up where you can set up the computer for you and then save those settings.

Your roommate can set up the computer the way they loke it and save the settings.

When either of you log on, computer set up the way you like it.

a good program for cleaning cache and history,,,,using the builtin one on IE doesn't clean it all, is xblock.  Which can be found at the link below.  It cleans out several things, including your documents if you want.

Buy Window Washer - you can get it at Fry's or download it from there site.  I have used it for years.

Also, you should wipe your free space.  I use BC wipe from Jetico.com.  Free space is where the file you 'deleted' goes until the computer rewrites it.  If it does not get rewriten, then someonce can see what you thought you 'deleted'.
