Do any of you know what is up with Lily June?  I emailed twice, because she requests first contact by email, and have not heard back (two weeks).  Should I give it another shot, try a phone call, or give up?  Have not seen her before, but sounds like MKOG (my kind of girl!).  Even if she's not seeing anybody new, I thought I would hear back by email.  Her ads are still up.

I can say that she is a busy lady and she can be rather hard to get in touch with.  If you're patient, she's WELL worth the wait.

In a general sense (and please forgive me for piggybacking on your post), when contacting providers of LJ's caliber (she is among the most respected ladies here), it's wise to set yourself above the proverbial crowd by telling her a little about yourself in your initial contact e-mail.  What are your interests (other than the obvious)?  Besides her pictures, what drew your attention to her ad and website?  Is there something in the text of her site that leads you to think you might connect on some level other than the physical?  

Be respectful and thoughtful when first approaching a provider.  Be patient, as ladies who are in high demand may be unable to respond as quickly as you would hope.  Quite often, we contact a particular lady because the photos on her website give us that familiar twitch in the loins...but it's wise to understand that many of the best providers do not make appointments that way.

The key here is to remember that some ladies (LJ, Sedona, Essa, and Elise, to name but a few) are delightfully thoughtful and by all accounts, go beyond the illusion of the "GFE" and, by virtue of a genuine affection for their clients, offer real intimacy.  Again, I would never presume to speak for any of our ladies, but as I understand it, a true courtesan's screening process is often more art than science, as they look for something in your initial contact that will offer a foundation for that kind of connection.

Anyway...just be patient.  Time spent with such a remarkable lady is well worth the wait.

As one who has seen LJ, I completely agree with Master Yoda. It does take a while to establish contsct with LJ, but it very much worth it. Be patient and you will be rewarded.

I was beginning to wonder if she got out of the business. Her and I had several friendly emails and two friendly telephone conversations about three weeks ago. We set a date and time, and she asked me to call the morning of the get together and confirm... I called, she never answered... and has not since answered a PM or email.
I surely dont know what I did or said that might have turned her off. Our conversations were very nice and friendly...

Lily June is okay.  She has once again had some major computer problems (I pity anyone standing outside of her office window, as they might be hit by flying hardware), and it has been complicated by the fact that she hasn't been feeling well the past few days (probably since jb saw her...slip her a mickey, jb? , so she hasn't even been able to use a friends computer to check mail and respond.  She has also had a personal issue that she has had to deal with, and with everything else that has happened, has needed to withdraw from the scene for a few days.

Lily June regrets that she has not been able to follow up with the gentlemen who have called or written her, and would like me to relay that when she is feeling better and gets her computer working again, she will contact everyone as best as she can.  However, she is unsure whether this will be a few days or a week or more, as she is still not feeling well.  What she is needing to do now is rest and get herself feeling better, and she hopes that everyone understands and is sorry if she has inconvenienced anyone.

I have posted this, even though I have sworn off posting on the boards, because I wanted to help her, and because I know that if those wanting to see her are willing to be patient with her, it will be worth the wait.  I wish her a speedy recovery, and I will go back underground now.  Peace to you all.

I, for one, think that you have already paid off your "debt" by your personal banishment from the boards for quite a while and you should come back. The boards were more interesting when you were posting, so get please get off your "noble approach" and get your ass back here now!

Thanks for the really helpful info.  I'm in no hurry.  Will follow your advice.  I will just shoot her another email in a week or so, and hope she is feeling better. Your sensitive and generally decent nature comes through in your post.

It is generally known that I have a great deal of respect for LJ and disagree completely with this imposter/loser.  Lilly has been a dear friend and I have always been a member of the 'its worth the wait' camp!
