Hotel Circle or Mission Bay. I wanted La Jolla but the dates and hotels aren't going to mesh....

I know I ask alot of questions but I want to be in a place that is convenient. Blame my marketing research background...lol

I have found an amazing place very close to Sea World. Would you travel to me there or is the Hotel Circle thing better???

Again, thank you for the help!

They're about 7 min apart by car and the Sea World area is so much nicer.  But for a town where people buzz along the freeway at 70 many are amazingly reluctant to go 30s out of their way, so see what other responses you get.

Go to Mission Valley.  It is central San Diego. Lots of great hotels and very convenient to get in and out.

Yes, avoid the fancy areas... parking is a bitch.

If your trip is all about business, Mission Valley might be better, but If you want to enjoy some of the charm and atmosphere that makes our city soo cool, I belive, the sea world location would be more fun for you.

The Mission Bay area has the allure of being close enough to Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach and of course Sea World.  There are numerous hotels in the vicinity like Paradise Point Resort, Hilton Mission Bay, Hyatt Mission Bay, just to name a few.  I'm biased and partial to the area since I work near Mission Bay.  It's a great place to retreat for an extended lunch break. ;)
