I would wait up to 1/2 hour, but I would be pretty pissed off and frustrated by that point. As someone said, stuff happens, and if she's running late and calls to let me know, I'll understand.
I think if you took a random sample of civie' peoples. Most would say anything after 15 minutes is late. I tend to agree with this.
How late it too late in Hobbyland'? I will admit I was surprised when people told me they waited an hour or more. I don't know that I would have patience to that point. (I wonder if there is a hottness factor or limited free time variable worked into that.) So at what point do you go from curiously turned on to slighty annoyed? 15 mins. , 25 mins. 5 mins? Can we talk....
Hard so give a rule of uniform application. There's a lady in Las Vegas who is chronically tardy, sometimes up to 2 hours--but when she gets there, she's dynamite.
I think if I had an appointment with a lady for a specific time and heard nothing from her by 15 minutes after the appointed hour, I would write her off. If she had a problem and kept me in the loop via cell phone, I would be more flexible.
It's a matter of respect--something that each one owes to the other. How long would you wait for a hobbyist who doesn't call and explain why he's late and give an idea how late he'll be? On a couple of occasions, that has happened to me and I always gave the lady the choice of (a) rescheduling me if she had time, (b) giving me a short session, or (c) seeing me when I got there. Any of the three is acceptable to me if I am delayed by forces beyond her control.
anytime after 20 mn is not acceptable unless the person calls. As long as the person calls and let me know what's going on and in how long they can be there, it s cool with me... but if there is no call and they are more than 20 mn late, I ll just leave.
Life happens so if something come up like a late flight or traffic problems or someone gets lost, I apppreiate a call to keep me informed, I try to book my dates far apart so I have no undue stress if someone is late...But with no call 20 minutes is fair after that I cancel. V
15 minutes is not too much to ask for. With everyone having cell phones and we all know that there are things called pay phones where we can always pull over and let someone know where we are (traffic, work, etc.) Just show some respect that you would want in return. Simple

Is that a grammatically correct term? Doesn't feel like it. By nature, I'm a pretty easy going guy, and since I only hobby once a month or so, I pick my spots pretty carefully and usually have had a pretty good dialog with my date (unfortunate victim) beforehand which lends to more leeway. Once I feel like I'm being taken for a ride, however, then the whole meeting is in trouble as I start to think about it. I'm EXCEEDINGLY punctual by nature, so I can't really fathom what goes through the heads of those who are not.
If she is coming to me I would expect a phone call for anything 15 minutes or longer. If I don't recieve a call then after twenty minutes she might as well not come over. If she does not call me then that is disrespectful. It doesn't take long for a phone call. If I am going to there place then I would call even if I am going to be five minutes late. However I am never late.
See, this is the fundemental difference between men and women. (I'm a TS, which makes me an "expert" on the topic... giggle)
Men see arrival time as the time their girl is supposed to arrive at their location ready for a hot date. Women see it as the suggested time to leave the house on the wat "to" the date.
Seriously though, as someone who is chronically late (I'm sorry...) I always make sure to call well before the set time if I am running late and keep my date informed.
I would say 30 min is acceptable to reach the "annoyed" stage when your girl date is late, especially if she hasn't called.
For incalls, depending on the situation if somone is late, and hasn't called by the appointed time I will call him. If I get a voice mail and no return call for 10 min, I will move on to something else. This really doesn't happen too much as I try to make it clear in advance what my expectations are.
In larger cities we also have to allow for traffic. I had a date today who called me and was caught in a "sig-alert" traffic standstill for over an hour. But he called and let me know what was up.
