I would like some recommendations on hotels for when I visit. I usually stay in the Hotel circle area but am looking for a nice luxury hotel that is also in a good location for visitors. Anyone who has any ideas please let me know. Thanks all!

Hilton at MB is great choice, but how about the Pacific Terrace Hotel or Hyatt Regency Islandia and SHE will be closer to me...... LOL

IT is not as nice as the UTC area or downtown.  Mission Valley is central, but there are so many nice placed downtown that are far better than any hotel in Hotel Circle.  In UTC you have Embassy Suites and the Hyatt.  Downtown is a bit tougher to park, but not impossible and if people want to see you bad enough they will do whatever it takes!

Agreed.  Mission Bay Hilton is a DAMN fine hotel.  I also like the Hyatt in La Jolla.

Humphries Half Moon Inn on Shelter Island is great.
