Without a sample of your usual e-mail it's hard to say what you are doing wrong. I can tell you from my experience a few things that annoy me and sometimes make me delete or delay answering an e-mail. Which is not to say that I always do, just that I might if I'm busy or in a bad mood.
1.) Ask a question that I answer on my website 2.) Ask right away for more pics
LOL, I guess that's it. I like notes that are brief but contain some kind of personal comment. For example, "I went to your website and noticed that you seem to be interested in art..." As a consumer you probably shouldn't have to work that hard, but we're people and respond best to flattery and such.
I've e-mailed a few providers here in SD about setting up get-together.
But out of the 3-4 providers I've e-mailed, I only got a response from one. And the one provider I got a response from, I received one reply and that was it.
I'm not being graphic overly forward in the e-mails. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Do you guys have any tips for e-mailing providers? Also, if you don't get a response right way, do you keep e-mailing? Or do you just take the hint and move on...

The providers can be busy. They may not have time to respond. Don't take it personal. And don't flood their in-boxes with emails. If you have a phone number for them, try that instead.
I like e-mailing cuz I'm sitting right here at the computer and its so easy to just fire one off. Some providers you can have an e-mail relationship with because they are so good with their mail. Others you will never hear from. Send an e-mail, but don't rely on hearing back as an indicator of if she wants to see you or not. If I'm planning something weeks in advance I'll start with e-mail. Short notice, the phone is always the way to go.
