so does the UT website.  Got a link, or just which day's paper it was in?

I remember this story although this happend a while back. The off duty cop picked up two young ass street walkers on El Cajon BLVD and they told him to drive towards Adams AVE on 38th st. They told him to pull in to an alley where two guys tried to rob him.  He then tried to struglle or something like that and he got shot twice and he left that part of town.  I'm sure that because he was cop he couldn't figure out what to do because he ended up in a Burger King parking lot..........Thgat's all I remember but I know that's the fellow was talking about and I know it a while back at least six months and it was all over the news........oh by the way the cop had a white mustang. Since it happend a while I assume what the fellow read was a follow up story.  I live in Kensington and I would have heard something. Besides if it's a diffrent shooting involving another off duty cop it would have made two in the last year and it would have been all over the news. Maybe thats why it can't be found with a search.
