Question about screening that recently came up personally:

 

GENTS - do you contact your references to let them know that a provider may contact them to get verification?

LADIES - do you prefer your lovers let you know to expect a reference check?
LADIES - do you prefer when ladies are expecting to hear from you?
LADIES - do you prefer verification requests via email or text or phone? Or does it matter?

If there is a future in this for me, I will contact first with any providers I have been with before listing as a reference. Learning. Lesson learned.

Kind of screwed things up for me in Vegas, in many ways, but it works out for me somehow.

And give her the name of the provider who will be contacting her. I do have one regular I see that has told me no need to give her a heads up that an escort will be contacting her about me.  

Contact the preference first, to ask if its OK to use them, especially if its been more that a month or two. But sometimes it is difficult. That's why I use one of the  verification sites, it makes life very easy.

Anytime during the early a.m., or day is fine with me.  I always conduct hobby business via email.  I find it very respectful for a provider to follow up with a thank you after receiving a reference, but it is uncommon these days because very few have common courtesy & feel it is your duty to help them.

Usually I will ask them if I can use her as a reference.. Once permission is given, I usually do not advise her that someone may contact her.

The REAL problem is can you trust your reference! There is at least one lady on this board who will say she will give you a reference and even a white list then bad mouth you behind your back insuring you do not get a session with a new provider.  

Unfortunately TER'd will not allow the outing of this provider

it makes things go so much easier and I do not have to bother the girls for a reference

What info do us ladies share? It can be many things.

Some examples…

Most of my emails are "is he ok" and the reply is "yes"
Some say "oh, he's fine but is late a lot"
Sometimes "he's really nice but extremely fat"
Maybe "he is hot, but his breath is awful, ask him to mouth wash when he gets there"
Other times "he is shy and you have to take the lead"
More often than not "just FYI he may request BB, but don't feel obligated as he doesn't mind either way, just likes to see if he can get it"
Occasionally "i would see him again but not for outcall, his place was in a bad area"

 
For me, when someone asks I usually just say "he's great, say hi for me" when i know him offhand but if i need to look him up i say, "yes, i saw him but it was over a year ago"

 
Some ladies share a lot, some only say "he's ok"

 
Just depends on the guy & the lady

It depends on the provider.  

I ask.....

First, I giver her as much info as possible.  Name, age, ethnicity, brief physical description, email, ph#, screen names, and when he last saw her. Does he have good hygiene? Is he respectful of the time and donation?  Would you see him again?  

Looks aren't important to me. I want to spend time with someone who is clean, aware of my do's/don'ts, and will leave when their hour is up.  

As far as likes, I prefer to ask him, not his reference.
 

Simply put....I don't like to be *asked if I will give a vouch* I don't like to be notified *that a provider will be contacting me for a reference*.

Reason being....  
Men should not have to seek permission to use any lady they see in this adult lifestyle, as a reference.    

Time shouldn't need to be wasted sending out emails/calls/text beforehand letting your *seen reference* know that someone will be contacting them for a vouch.  

 
My view is.......IF you had a date with a lady (in the hobby). You CAN most certainly use her as a reference w/o needing any permission nor giving her a heads up beforehand. Doing so is ridiculous.  
And I get peeved when men contact me and say, (can I use you as a reference/ or so/n so will be contacting you for a vouch on my behalf).
Yes I KNOW they're trying to be respectful. But I have it outlined on my site my preference in that regard.  JUST never give out my # and ONLY have the provider/s email or PM me for a vouch... is the ONLY request I have. ...Beyond that.

Tooooo much time, in my minds eye, is wasted with all the permission seeking going on.

Both men and women in this lifestyle rely a lot on *time*.....when booking dates. So simply use your previous dates as a reference...and those ladies should be willing to vouch for you. If they don't. (well that says a lot about them).

That's MHO.......as too many gals across the hobby boards.....use the whole *vouching/referencing permission. as a *trap* for hobbyist...to only them.
