How does one find an "hourly" motel in the area?

Look in the yellow pages or do a search on the net. Make some calls.

Dolphin, Point Loma is the only one that I know of

Yes the Dolphin........but Harbor Police often hang around there and hassle the girls and guys. I know! Be very cautious there if you use it.
