Any geeks out there going to the convention next week?

Yeah, ComicCon is my reason to come to San Diego for the past few years. This will be my 5th time in 8 years. A great time, with more freaks, geeks, and weirdos per square foot than any other place on Earth. It also gives me the chance to connect with extraordinay women like Suzanne and Jai, both of whom I'm scheduled to see this trip, or the amazing Jenni of San Diego, who I had the chance to meet a couple of years ago.

Left my ATM card in tijuana last year...I'll TRY not to do it again.

I had to laugh... apparently some of the official correspondence instructs attendees to shower at least once a day.  

I quote: "It's okay to be a fanboy, but don't perpetuate the stereotype by being a STINKY fanboy."

I think I'll pass...

I've been going since the El Cortez days.  The hotel was closed down, but they rented out the meeting rooms.
Yes, a couple of friends and I will be wearing our geek flag proud for all four days.
My personal fave is the "C" level actors at the autograph area.
