Be carfull which calling card you use, I once called a provider from my work cell phone using a calling card. I let it ring 5-8 times and I hung up, the phone rang seconds after I hung up and it was her on the line. I was a bit taken back thats for sure.
If you don't (or can't) block an outbound cel call, caller i.d. will display your phone number AND name. The cel phone company automatically (at least mine does) programs in the name of the person or business that appears on the contract. Kinda hard to use an alias.
You might want to read the thread entitled "another cell phone question" dated 10/24/03 on the TER National Board. It covers a variety of safety issues and has some advice about the caller ID problem, such as using a prepaid calling card, pre-paid cell phone, or having your alter-ego obtain a cell phone.
Thanks for the tip. I really screwed up with calling Hanna from my cell phone. My usual practice is to use calling card, which is totally untraceable. Let my guard down this time, though. Anyway, I learned. Thanks again.

I just buy the prepaid card from Costco or somewhere like that. And I usually make the call from a pay phone. I don't know how to get more untraceable than that.
Jetfishes...You mentioned using a calling card only to have a provider call back soon after you hung up. She was probably using *69, not your phone number. For a bit more information see the National Board thread I mentioned above.
