frankly i don't give a damn about the blacklists or the blacklisters. why would any1, as it is so subjective.

Many years ago in a former life I was the manager of a specialty retail store and I learned a lot about human behavior.

Sometimes I'd get an irate customer (for whatever reason) and they'd shout "I'll never be back, you'll never get my money" and/or " I'll tell all my friends not to shop here" etc., etc.

Sure enough, within a couple weeks I'd see that customer again in my store.  The bottom line is that if you have what people want they'll adjust, do what it takes and/or look the other way. If you don't have what they want then they weren't your customers anyway.

On the other side of that coin, I'd always make my own decision to see someone. One never knows the motivation behind a "blacklist" and many times those motivations aren't my own.

Blacklists are too easy to abuse and thus should never exist in this type of forum. For example, Jennysue may have chosen to blacklist a client of hers for simplying being quick in the sack and not treating her like the lady she felt she was (see thread below from a few dats ago). Jennysue complained about this behavior, but a lot of providers would love a date like that since they are clockwatchers anyway. Or perhaps someone like me comments on the board and irks a few providers and all of a sudden I get blacklisted without ever having physically met any of them. Each individual provider should make their own decision whether or not to see a client based upon their own experiences. Hopefully those experiences arent just limited to this board, becuase frankly we can all sound like asses on here from time to time.

In one way or other we all do our own blacklists. I know that there are some posters who I will not read for one reason or other. They are on my blacklist. I don't think that there should ever be any TER sanctioned blacklist.

Well, I don't shop at the Costco in Carmel Mountain. I refuse to. I despise them; tell all my friends and family, and drive 20 miles to another Costco in order to continue to get the items I regularly buy from Costco.
When I say something, I usually mean it...

have any idea what a blacklist is?  Seems not with all this talk about personal blacklists.  That's an oxymoron.

A blacklist is an organized attempt to exclude certain people from any participation in an area of life, usually economic.  Like when the top 5 (or 10 or whatever) movie moguls got together and compiled a list of actors, directors, screewriters, etc. none of whom were to be hired by ANYONE in the movie business.  (Can you say McCarthy?)

The analogy here would be if all (or a substantial fraction) of the providers agreed to refuse to see MrDillon, perhaps because he had written an unfavorable review of MissKitty who's very popular in the escort community.  I haven't seen anything remotely resembling this and I trust I never will.

That's Marshall Dillon to you, Chester. :)  Or is it Festus?

Your grammerical ability is appreciated.  I think most understood the intent of the posts, but it never hurts to use correct grammar.
