VIP Advantage: Checking First Reviewers

The last two years I have noticed that often a provider’s first review is posted by a new member who has not posted any prior reviews.  Those of you who are not VIP’s do not have the ability to click on the reviewer’s name and see if he has posted other reviews.

The latest in this trend is Sandiegowilly’s review of JES posted on January 25.  It is his only review.  You non-VIP’s cannot see the “juicy details”, but they sound like an advertisement, not like a session report.

If a vet sees her, please post a review so we get an objective review, not an advertisement.

The point was that the reviewer may not be a "real" member here and that his review was really an advertisement, an attempt to give the new provider a "kick start".  And, your post prompts the obvious question: If you are an "objective" member AND you have had a session, why have you not posted a review?

Some on here don't post reviews because of the heavy activity in the past of LE.  For example, checkout the local MP reviews.  A grand total of 2 reviews last year and in 05 there's about 15.  What caused the drop off, the busts in Escondido.
Some girls I'm sure prefer the "staying low under the radar" and ask for no reviews to be posted.
Plus as you asked, some  on here might not have had sessions.

It's also funny how Providers with only one review posted by reviewers with only one review are always so highly rated!

They know that the first review establishes all the details in the provider profile.

she has more than one review. he started a new page for her for some reason.

I cannot find her profile.  Seems as if management agreed that the review was "advertising".

I can say that I have never written a review on myself, or had a lover or friend do it... it is actually true that some of us do have some integrity.

Still, I do realize that taking someone at their word is difficult without knowing that person.

I do suggest that we consider the possibility, as in my case, that my first review was written by a gentleman who hardly ever hobbies, who doesn't frequent these boards, who is not, in fact, a "hobbyist" -- merely a nice man who saw a local advertisement and decided to see me. At the end of the session, I requested that he write a review, telling him about this site, and suggesting that he might enjoy looking around, as well.

This scenario has repeated itself several times throughout my escorting career. I often see men who do not describe themselves as hobbyists, and who are often unaware of the existence of this board until I ask if they would consider writing a review.

Some start with me, then go on to write more reviews. I recently had a gent who frequently hobbies, but who doesn't write reviews, write his first review about me because he didn't like something another reviewer wrote. He admits that he uses reviews to help choose who he will see, but that he doesn't write them.

I realize that many ladies have false reviews. But sometimes, there's more to it than that. And everyone has to start somewhere, as well. To assume that all first-time reviewers with new ladies are false isn't necessarily the right idea, IMO.

Just my (rather lengthy) .02 cents.
Have a wonderful day!

I think the reason for so much suspicion is that so many of these first time reviews are:
1. never followed by further reviews, or
2. not corroborated by subsequent reviews by established TER members.
