tecate is no comparison to TJ, the pickings will be slim.

it's been a while, but I think that there are still these bars:
Acapulco, El Paso, Don Ponchas, but the best time was at El Patio, below a disco.
El Dorado motel around $40 for the night

Tecate is a very small town and it would be MUCH better if you drive to TJ which is about 35-40 miles
