It is a standard practice and they are a very cautious agency for any new client without good references. They are 1 of only a couple K agencies in SD and the other has similar screening so if you are interested in Kgirls you will have to meet their screening requirements.

Receiving an email from a gentleman's work account is a pretty standard screening practice if he doesn't have any references. For example, if I am screening someone through employment, I have them send an email to a dummy account (random male name @ gmail.com) saying whatever is most discreet for them. Some men send an elaborate fake business related email, some leave it blank, and some straight up say, "Hey Desiree, just proving I am who I say I am!" I check to make sure the website matches up with the information that was provided, then I delete the message. I never even respond.
Look at it this way... if an agency, or provider for that matter, ever compromised someone's work identity in any way, it would put them out of business pretty quickly. As I said, I don't know SDAG's exact practices, but I would expect that they would guard their client's identities pretty securely. They have nothing to gain from "outing" you, or from harassing you at your job. They have also probably screened a hundred other gentleman this way before without any issues.
Long story short, if you want to see them, you shouldn't worry about it. It'll be all right, and I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.
Xoxo,
Desiree
