If you have not been to the US Midway, drive down in the morning and spend several hours there (parking gets difficult later in the day). It is a fascinating living monument to the many to the thousands of men and women who served aboard. The docents have remarkable stories to share.
I would suggest not wearing wear high heels as the stairs/ladders between decks are steep.
Yes sir! My kids have had the tour of midway. We spent the day there & have a family member who served aboard the USS Midway. It’s a real honor to respect those who sacrificed for our freedom. Thanks for sharing. Everyone should check it out!
