It's funny, I have never asked people for recommendations. I have had a few "given" to me, but from when I first started on TER, I just did my searches on what I liked, read the reviews of those who came up in the searches, narrowed it down, contacted those I was interested in, and then made my appointments.
If you do enough homework on TER, it is almost impossible to have a bad experience here.
First, get VIP status. It is well worth it. Second, once you have VIP status, then you can do your own VIP search for what you seek.
Moreover, if you are a VIP, then other chollos can PM you privately with their suggestions without having to hang their own huevos out on the board for all of the donut-muchers to see.
I agree with Que i have a VIP membership and have had one for 7 years and never wrote a review i do have a white listing by one fine lady become a member get some reffs
MSD, i completely agree. i have never asked for recommendations, and i probably would never. that is nothing against the people here on this board, but everyone likes something different. i knew that before i started visiting TER, and it has been reinforced reading reviews of different women.
and also, like you say, the search engine is so detailed, it is pretty impossible not to find what you like and keep reading and like you say, do your homework. if you do all that, i completely agree - i don't think you'd be able to have a bad experience.
