Is there one where the girls are consistently for real, or is it really just based on individual girls?  I've seen Bridgette on some of them, but know she's not GFE - kind of a rip, I hear.  Any advice?

All the "mall" sites that you mention simply take money in exchange for an ad.  They don't review or critique the providers.  Eros and Cityvibe both give a blanket claim that "all pictures are verified real", which seems ludicrous given that they're based in northern California (do you really think they fly a rep down here to check out each provider who puts up an ad?!).  That's why I personally prefer Exotics.  They put a yellow thing saying "we've verified that this person exists" on some (not all) ads, and they're actually here in SD so I figure there's a chance they actually meet some of the gals.  Having said that, use the "malls" to see who you're interested in, then use this site & TBD as a consumers guide to weed out the poor providers.

As mention they ( all ad malls) try to make sure that the advertising is legit, however it is truely up to the client to do the foot work. I think that if you have noticed certain names that keep poping up as rip-off you may want to stay away and continue to look for some who's reviews or referances are positive. We will all make mistakes in this life time, these boards should help so we do not repeating mistakes others have shared with us.

sdhobbyist -  I know you didn't mention SouthCoast VIP in your post, but I wanted to point out that just because an adult directory doesn't have a physical presence in each city they cover, it doesn't mean they don't verify the photos of all of their clients.  We are located in the L.A./Orange County area and I do travel to San Diego, San Francisco and Las Vegas to verify photos (I know, it's a tough job, but it's all mine).  Sedagive.

Notice that SouthCoastVIP does not have a Bridgette (ripoff) ad even though she threatened them with her lawyer.  It is also my understanding that SouthCoastVIP has partial ownership by a provider (possibly retired now).
