You certainly seem like the Hard Rock type.  Then you can have dinner at Nobu.  Or at Solimar which has a great deck pool and bar.  During the day there are plenty of places to park all over.  Yes, some people might have to walk, but it oculd be a good idea to walk a bit and stretch your legs to get ready for the exercise to come!

Staying at the Manchester Hyatt or the new Hilton will be harder for parking since they are on the bay side where there are not as many street spots as there are in the Gaslamp area.
