Because these 20 something people are into Comic's. Most are on a budget like the rest of us.
It's never brought more biz for the girls to town.

I admit to a certain amount of surprise.  Comic-Con is going on.  An extra 125k people are in town.  Most with spending cash and a hotel room.  Many single white males, in their early 20s, who think nothing of doling out $700 for a replica of Hellboy's gun, and who dream of beautiful women.  Why is there not a big influx of visiting providers this week?

As someone who was at Comic-Con (but hasn't been a 20 something for quite awhile), I think Jai is absolutely correct. Most of the guys who come to Comic-Con alone, who have money in their pocket, are going to spend it on the rare, collectable comics (or whatever they collect) they've been looking for their entire lives. As Jai will testify to, I outgrew that a LONG time ago!
