Hi, I'm a 28 year old man living in San Diego and I am fairly new to the hobby.  I've been to AMPs a few times a while back but they never impressed me much.  So now I'm looking at nonAMP providers as a potentially far better value and experience. In searching around the reviews and provider sites I noticed that many providers have statements on their sites such as, "gentlemen over 35 preferred."  Now, I'm a bit away from 35 chronologically but have always been ahead of the game in most other respects.  Is this a strictly enforced rule?  How far, when, and in what circumstances would such providers bend this rule, if at all?
