PMing other members about something they've shared

In a few posts I've noticed that someone has posted information that would compromise a provider esp. if she had previous problems with LE.  Sometimes there is no "envelope" to pm a note to the poster any clarifying info.  So I have two questions, Can you send a pm to a poster who doesn't have an envelope to click on? and Do moderators take responsiblity to consider if the info being posted might create a problem for a provider?

You cannot PM a person who doesn't have an envelope next to their name.

If you see something on these boards that you think might compromise a lady (or a gentleman), please notify me and send me links to the messages.

Thank you,
