In my opinion it is unfortunate that one San Diego provider raised the issue of performance ratings in the July 4 ad of another provider.  (Catty?)  The issue warranted a separate post; therefore I am doing so again.

The somewhat strange requirements that still are listed under "submit a review" apparently were established by long-ago-departed-Dave.  His requirements that anal and "more than one" were irrelevant to my interests.  In the past year or two it has become obvious that more than a few reviews were approved that do not justify the performance rating given, perhaps because Dave no longer was overseeing the operation.

Here is my vote for a revised requirement:

1) Get rid of the "merely offered".  No restaurant critic reviews a restaurant on menu items not sampled.

2)  Drop anal and "more than one".  From reading reviews, it is obvious most guys do not care

3)  Allow one point above 7 for eroticism of the experience.

4)  Allow three points above 7 for CIM.

I know of one provider on the other coast who does not kiss nor offers FS.  Her menu is limited to BBBJ with swallows.  Such an experience should be eligible for a 10 rating in my book.

WymenLover, all reviewers are equal but some treated more equally than others. That said, I just hope staff will consider posting new guidelines for ratings. I have seen a few providers that I'd like to have awarded a 10..(you know who you are!), but following the guidelines that I was taught, I was afraid the review would be rejected.  Lately, I've seen newby teenies (or darn near) getting 10's like they were rocks on the beach.....I mean hardly a GFE experience even.

So, again, I'm pleading for some standardization here. Thanks.

Look, this is your board, to discuss (in a friendly manner) on the topics related to this hobby and your region.  This is not about asking for a general consensus by hitting up other boards (GD, S&P).  You should be able to stand up for what you think is right, even if you are standing alone.  You are all mature enough to establish opinions without trashing others.

Discussions on reviews and scoring are as old as this site.  Admin and site owners are doing their best in finding a middle ground.  Not everyone will be happy, but you can formulate educated arguments to send to admin.  Consider me a facilitator of ideas and arguments.
