....I would like to hear some of the providers horror stories. It's not that I will enjoy reading about the bad things that you girls have to put up with, but I would like to think it will give us hobbyists a better understanding of what you go through. Also, by letting us know what may turn you off, we can do our best to avoid doing those things. I really hope to get some good input from the providers here. Please remember to use an alias. I think it would be best on this particular thread.Have a great day.

Don't need any details really, just trying to get a better understanding. Anyone?

The gentleman my seem a bit paranoid, but in today's environment, these sorts of responses should be expected. You see, what you girls need to realize is that, unlike several years ago, hobbyists are being targeted by LE in the same manner as providers, if not more so. They are highly vulnerable, and  are often easy targets, as men generally tend to think with the wrong part of their anatomy.  Nowadays, the risks have been divided down the middle, as the demand side of the equation is also at great risk; actually, some may even argue that the hobbyist faces greater danger and has even more to lose, since it's not just LE that he must concern himself with, but the prospect of his significant other finding out as well. I can only agree with this individuals unwillingness to provide you with this information.
The other interesting point is his dissatisfaction with the price. He indicates that it is too much; well, he may have a point here. Under current conditions, given the increased amount of uncertainty assumed by the hobbyist , one would expect the price to adjust in order to compensate for the higher level of risk exposure, a risk discount if you will. It seems as though this is what has been developing as of recently. Prices seem to be falling--yes, it is also a result of a faltering economy-- but additionally, it may also be the result of the hobbyists reluctance to act, given the many perils he faces. Sure, providers, just like suppliers of other goods/services, have had to offer incentives and other forms of deep discounts in order to stimulate business activity as a result of the austere economy, but I clearly believe that that is not the only reason prices have been declining. Anyway, enough said.

I hate bad experiences

-- Modified on 11/29/2002 3:22:16 PM

Autumn, do you and other providers feel more comfortable when a TER member with reviews calls?  Do you go through the same screening process?  It IS uncomfortable to give detailed info to someone you've never met before... while trying to remain discreet.  On the other hand, I understand your need for security purposes.  Do reviewers of TER reduce your concern for detailed screening??  (Personally, I'd be interested in contacting you if I knew I could refer you to my reviews as a reference...)     Just wondering...

Not cool

It is a one way information flow with the provider refusing to dilvulge anything short of having a web site.  So we have to depend on TER and sometimes the providers get their listing removed because they don't like what they hear about themselves. It's an a crap shoot! I think that the providers should hear the horror stories from customers that are too polite to put it on TER because TER is afraid to taint the providers reputation.

I was once with a provider that mentioned that the worst thing for her, is when a guy shows up smelling bad. She told me a little about a few experiences and it made me want to puke. I'm sure we all remember what the 300 pound guy in line at 7-11 smells like after actually getting up and walking a little. Phew!
Personally, I have but one semi-horror story since joining TER. That was simply a provider that was listed for providing FS. When I arrived, I asked no questions, put donation on table and got naked. In about 10 min, I realized this was nothing more than a HJ provider. Needless to say, I was only horrofied at the fact that a TER member posted a fake review. Probably to get VIP status. Not a real horror story, I know. But, it's all I got. Thank goodness.

I personally welcome that as long as we follow the rules of the board - no personal information, just the horror story.

Interesting.  It sounds like a typical respose from someone who pretty much thinks that the hobbyist is the more important part of the hobby and the provider is merely a tool that shouldn't ask for any information.  Otherwise, he would have realized that while it is important for hobbyists (with or without SOs) to exercise discretion, providers are also at risk and must be cautious as well.

I guess he was expecting you to just drive to his hotel room without verifying that he wasn't LE and to give it to him for free.  I guess I should have gotten into the hobby years ago during the good old days if that's how it went down.  :)

Personally, I know I am running risks by participating in the hobby, which is why I try my best to do my homework before I set a date.  But I also appreciate the fact that the providers are also running risks, different risks from me, but risks nonetheless, so I am not against providing what information that I'm comfortable with so that they can be sure that I'm not a threat to them.  I'm not sending a TRW to any provider, but I sure won't expect them to see me if I can't prove to them that I am a real hobbyist.

Just my $0.02.

Firstable, let me reassure you that Autumn is not a LE, she is the real deal!! I known her for years and years and all she likes to do is to have fun... that is why we remain very, very close... (check our pictures out).
In this kind of recreational activities WE ALL HAVE TO BE CAREFUL. If you bring up the subject of discretion, No one is better than Autumn, and i have to say that i learned it from her.
I do, most of the time, check ID, To match the name and the person, i also call my scurity person to let him know that i am safe... I Love to have a great time and by doing that it takes so much tension away from me. Everytime i do this procedure, the client seems to like it, Never had a complaint.I like to know about my client as much information that makes us feel comfortable with eachoter... I always encourage them to ask me anything they feel is important for their safety and comfort. I have goals in life... this is not my full-time job, I don't consider this a job. I have to say this is a pleasure, not a job.

I hope you don't get as offensive towards Autumn, I know she just wanted to enhance the season (halloween)... Treat or trick?

Until then
Hugs and licks

What happens when client refuses to have a pepermint, because his mouth stinks like hell?
Or even better, He does not comprehend the concept of Deodorant??

I have to call that a Horror, smelly, nasty, story...

My biggest turn off: bad smells...

Trick or Treat??

Kisses to you all

I was once with a provider who stunk (and I don't mean her service). I tried to dine (DATY) and could not because the tuna fish salad was spoiled. You know what I am talking about.

Yes, some are too quick to go from job site to job site. However, I will never again let that stand in my way. If offended, ice 'em down or shower with them. Clean 'em up good, its fun. Most of em' would want to know anyway. Caveot Emptor!
I'm still waiting to hear about our provider's horror stories. So far I've read about arguing over screening and stink. Boo Hoo, try waiting for someone that is an hour or two late then comes in a robs you and you have to go toe-to-toe with some thug on your own front porch.
Thank god for the women on this board who'd never do that.
