I have corresponded with (southern) Belle for several months trying to schedule an appointment.
Honestly, it has been a six month endeavor by email. It has been that difficult.
We finally spoke by phone in early June and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday July 1st. I told her I would take the day off from work and "we had a plan" from both of us. She said she had it down and we were good to go. I made the effort to take the day off.
I mailed southern Belle last weekend to make sure we were still on for July 1st and received ZERO response. I tried again today with zero response.
Obviously I am disappointed and feel stupid for thinking I could take the right approach and be a gentleman and assume things would just work out with this provider.
I have never been blown off in such a way before by any provider.
Southern Belle - All you had to do was call or email. The fact that you did neither speaks volumes to your unprofessionalism.
Humdinger, You spend way too much time following this provider. One call and one email and than you move on. The fact that you took time off of work is your fault. She is a flake and has too much drama. You dont need this. Good customers are hard to find and hold your ground. Move on. Thanks for the info she is now officially off my list.
I do know a month or so ago someone asked how Belle was doing. No one could reach her by email and her vm was full for a pretty long time.(Over a month) Even I was worried when I couldn't reach her after 4 or 5 times. She did have things going on. I think every good provider has had almost this same thread about them, at some point or another. Mine was when I had a mold problem in my home and had to move out for a few weeks. Plus had some health problems and communication was bad, so I was the flake then. Granted I wouldn't try for six months without good reason to see anyone. So I think you can't bitch, as that is your choice.
But Belle has had a good reputation in the past. And like all things I think this bump in the road too shall pass. I'm sorry guys we are only human and can't be perfect all the time, as much as we try.
Thank you for your post. It was frank but also refreshing. It is nice to hear from someone who knows a little bit about me but can also look at the situation from an objective perspective. Your comments are well respected.
I do not think of life as being full of drama but rather exciting and enlightening experiences, even with its' obstacles and challenges. I love life and life makes us who we are. I mean, come on now, how often does your best girlfriend get married.

I have been reviewed since February 2006 and have never been on this Discussion Board before. I am in the 'know' now and I can see how it can be damaging and/or positive.

I finally had the pleasure of meeting Belle this past week and she more than made things up to me!! She is a quality woman and I am so glad to have finally met her. It's all good!
