I just ordered my hat the other day and am biting my nails that it comes in time!
If not I will just have to repeat last years look - which was just TOO HOT TO HANDLE!

Anyone going is encouraged to TEXT me - although phone service was a MAJOR issue the past 4 years.
Hopefully they have more portable towers this year to compensate for the upsurge of cellular need.

My friends and I usually bring walkie-talkies actually as of last year.
Those really did the trick. I was having a full conversation while those next to me couldn't even connect a call!
Plus, walkie-talkies are just super fun! I strongly encourage bringing them if you have them or are in a large group who might want to split up.

I attend every year, however this year I may not be able to  
join in the festivities.  I might just have to
create my own "race event" in the privacy of my locale..
