I've just discovered TER and I'm already a VIP! I'm also a newbie. At least with this internet "hobby." I used to be a trucker, and believe me, comercial company was not a safe hobby. So this really intrigues me. I haven't taken the plunge yet, becuase I'm tied up for another week or two. In the mean time, I'm reading up on all the protocal and of course, who I want to ask to the prom!

So, in order to take up this hobby with as much information as possible, I thought it might be a good idea to get in on the local forums. I live in South Orange County, which doesn't have it's own board therefor. my question is: which is the cooler board to hang out at, LA or San Diego? I'll post this in both forums and see who wants the new guy. Oh, and I promise, all my really stupid newbie questions I shall ask on the newbie forums.
