There's a Courtyard Inn by Palomar Airport. You might even be surprised at the rates at La Costa.

theres executive suites off of Canon and Holiday Inn palomar airport road will work,,,ask for their suite rooms

I think there is a Courtyard by Mariott in Carlsbad.  Isn't there some type of Inn Suites off of the freeway (Canon Rd)?  I have seen those places in doing business down there so that is the best I can do for ya.

Definately need more providers up here in the North County - There are several places over here in Escondido

If you're looking for inland here's three you might check out

The Comfort Inn - I-15 and Valley Parkway, Escondido
The Palms (I think) - On the south end of Escondido Blvd, near
  Brotherton.  Take Center City Parkway from I-15 North about 1/2
  mile.  This was completely remodelled about 5 or 6 years ago and
  I hear it's very nice now, but I have no 1st hand knowledge.
Holiday Inn - West Bernardo Drive, Rancho Bernardo
