just the players. Scrolling back to the beginning of the millennium one constant prevails, the continuous bashing of people who, in most instances are innocents looking for advice. It’s almost humorous, but really sad reading recent posts stating “recent LE activity. . .,” please, LE was probably the first subscriber to TER when it originated. Another constant in reviewing posts over the years is that the longest threads to a post are those dealing in negativity. Shortest threads to a post are those started by someone trying to be nice. People there is a pattern here that’s unhealthy.  Here we are partaking in a hobby that’s supposed to breathe love, relaxation, and life into our bodies. Instead we wallow in negativity brought on by our own paranoia.  This board in its own right has become soap-opish (new word), come back in ten years and nothing’s changed, Luke and Laura are still chasing the ambulance up the driveway. We’ll I think it’s time for a change. Most of you are bright, intelligent (one exception would be that fellow who paid over $$ for a HJ performed by a provider with “rubber gloves,” say it ain’t so) and I’d have to say somewhat successful based on the prices you’re paying to these beautiful women. I know change is frowned at by many, especially by us who have reached the AARP subscription age, but nonetheless we need a new format. Long ago I wrote “if we look at change as a journey instead of a predetermined destination we will decrease the resistance that usually is created by change into anticipation for excitement through adventure. Please take a moment and think about my ranting, which came about because of a 100-year-old man I met at a bar over the weekend. When I asked him his secret to longevity he replied “being nice, it’s nice to be nice.”  Can it really be that simple, I think so! Of course this is just my .02-cents worth of my purely fictional mind.

Hello there Times...I cannot agree with you more.  At the time I am submitting this reply, there were 107 reads.  As you said, the most positive threads are the shortest.  The most negative the longest.  You are right about the subject of change, and the journey.  This is such an easy thing to turn around.  It is so easy to lend a hand.

I am all for poking fun here and there.  I have even been known to do that to an obvious mole.  I always find that a bit amusing.  I mistakenly accused someone who I had seen of being a boogie man once, did more research, realized I had made a mistake and publically apologized.  But I for one have met scores of wonderful people here.

I hope your post will make some people think a little, and put things back in a good perspective.  Thanks man!
