What I post is of no concern to you. The poster I responded to asked a legitimate question which could have been answered easily enough with a search that would have taken fewer keystrokes than the post. He also used an alias which is never a good thing if you want information here. What you failed to notice or acknowledge is that I gave him a method of finding the answer himself which will be of use to him down the road provided he's not just lazy. If you want to be the niceness police, do it on your own board.
Your "Locals only" attitude is what sucks about the SD board. People from all areas should not feel threatened to post on this board. This is a public forum and people will ask dumb questions. SO WHAT?? No need to insult everyone.

The poster could have been from anywhere, naughtius gave him some good information. It had NOTHING to do with a "locals only" attitude.
Had the guy posted with his VIP up there and had 85 reviews from LA, I'm sure if he looked legit, NM would have backchanneled the goods, as well as the learning information.
It only takes reading about 5-6 boards worth of threads to get the gist that we don't hand out information to people that aren't VIPs with either some posting history or a decent review history to their credit.
There's good reason for this. The guys are protecting not only themselves, but the ladies. Nevermind the information is already there, and TER survives based on VIP memberships.
There happen to be bad guys out there, not only of the LE type but of the regular antisocial narcissist personality wanting to control women that don't go along with whatever they say.
So step off your assumptions. They're incorrect.
Lesson #1 spend about 30 minutes reading the boards and figuring out how to use the search resources and then SPEND THE MONEY on VIP and you'll be 3/4 of the way to finding exactly who you want. Show us you've done your research and we'll help you on those last little baby steps if you have any last questions.
At least have the decency to spend the money we did to be VIPs and don't expect us to throw you VIP bones when you don't have a membership.
