Just happened to catch reviews of a couple providers recently that I had reviewed as well and knew there was NO WAY these providers would ever get a LEGIT rating over "7" (for performance). Yet, they had 8's and 9's from other reviewers. Even when you read those reviews, nothing noted in them reveal the reason for the variance above a "7". Of course, there are reviews of providers I haven't seen (yet) who have received the same kind of scores (i.e. higher than "7") when nothing in the review indicates that such higher scores are warranted.
So what's going on with the ratings police? I thought these reviews were reviewed before being published. Are the guidelines no longer relevant? Are we to ignore them from now on? What gives?
FWIW, I've never really liked the "rules" for scoring above a "7". I'm sure most hobbyists who rate above "7" when the rules do not allow for it are simply using their own subjective rating scale.
I, for one, would be very much in favor of a revamped rating scale--one that would allow for a purely subjective score of up to 10 and perhaps a totally different scale of some sorts that would give a quick glance indication of the interests the provider would typically allow indulgence in--with perhaps a separate indicator for the difference to be expected between 1st and subsequent visits (LOL, how many times does *that* happen?).
Thoughts? Comments?
Would especially like to hear from the "Staff" members who supposedly are policing these reviews for their take on the matter.
Unfortunately, staff does not have the time to thoroughly read every review. They do the best that they can with the resources that they have. As far as providers getting an above 7 score, I like the way it works. Even if staff does not have the time to read every review and verify what took place to achieve such a score. The fact remains that all of us have different tastes. Some guys prefer a HJ, or a cbj as opposed to a bbbj, etc. Now, if a provider that only offered straigh sex(no oral), but the hobbyist honestly thought that it was the greatest sex he ever had, he may give her a 10 in performance. Others who see the review may think that she must be great and therefore call to make an appointment, only to be very frustrated with her lack of skills offered. This is the main reason that the scores work the way that they do. I agree with it. I have read so many times where a hobbyist writes"....but with more visits, she should get better.". They never appear to improve. Either they are good from the start, or they are not very good at all. This is just going by what I have read.
as I have been led to believe, Staff (THE Staff not his staff of employees) does not review every review, but his staff does. Unfortunately, in every organization, there is high turnover in entry level positions. I am sure TER is no exception. Perhaps it would be best for you to post problem reports with the reviews you have questions about and recieve bonus VIP days for your trouble if indeed this pans out. For as long as I can remember there have been suggestions for revamping the scoring system. I don't always agree with the system but it is the one we have and if reviewers would take the time to read the guidelines (and readers too) then the sytem will work. It is logical to presume that changes can not easily be made to this system without having to revise (somehow) all the thousands of extant reviews to reflect any new system. Points are all subjective, and if you want to see what is 'on the menu' then having VIP status allows one to view what a lady will and will not do during a session. I think if more reviewers would observe a cooling off period of say 12-24 hours prior to writing a review we would see a greater consistancy of reviews (perhaps lucidity as well) As I am one TER member who prefers to support the system through paid membership rather than posting reviews I cannot say I would do any different than most if I wrote my review while still in the afterglow. I am sure I would be more subjective however if I wrote it the next day. All suggestions are good and valid points. This is a community of people with common interests at heart (with exception of LE and or ROBs) I think what keeps TER invaluable to hobbyists is that we are all not 'lapdogs' to the 'establishment' or management and willing to make suggestions for change that are often considered and implemented when viable. OK its Sunday morning and I am babbling so I'll wrap it up now.
I tried to start a thread about this a few times but it never made it to the board. The score for looks is very subjective, as has been discussed in recent threads, but the rules for performance are very clear.
The rules are very clear for getting a score over 7, but still there are many infractions. I can understand if Staff doesn't have time to read all reviews, but when I have brought specific reviews to his attention the score remains unchanged.
I see many reviews for providers who clearly don't do FS that get 7 or higher, and haven't gotten clarification as to how this is possible. The rule doesn't say that FS is needed to get a 7, but that just seems implied.
Change the review rules or change the score when its required. There is no shame in giving a provider a 7 based on the existing rules if that is what she chooses to provide, no matter how much was paid and how much the times was enjoyed or how beautiful she is.
I, for one, like the rules the way they are and would just like better enforcement of the scores, either before they are posted or after it has been noticed and reported in as erroneous.
