Just a question from a visiting hobbiest (from Tennessee).  There seems to be alot of pitfalls associated with this avocation (hobby) in SD.  Are there any hobbiests or providers that may be charitable and give a suggestion or 2?  I know, I hate these types of posts too, but I will only be there a limited time and want to avoid the usual new-city hassle.  I hope this post will not generate the usual "bash" responses, but, i guess I will see...

This post deserves the BASH replies. You ask for recommendations, but do not tell us what you are looking for. Massage, escort, dinner...Blonde, Brunette, Redhead....Budget.....when you will be in town......what part of town. Yes you do deserve to be bashed!!!

Actually, there are exactly 2 ways:

1)  Only confine yourself to the handful of VERY consistently well reviewed ladies that are garnered from this site, and be prepared to give them ALL of the screening info that they request, and it will be plenty.  The good, successful providers who are in San Diego are paranoid for GOOD REASON, as L.E. making a VERY Concerted crackdown on the hobby right now in San Diego.  Or:

2)  Go to Tijuana for your fun.  


That's REALLY it.  If you can't or won't pony up the detailed screening info, that will be asked of you, then you can't play in San Diego as a newcomer at this time.  Your only other choice is to go south of the border.   But that can be a very attractive option as well, if you've got the time.

I read the SD City Beat article about SD LE arresting an agency lady around super bowl time. Dman's point is well taken, and ladies that travel here and don't screen(agency or indy) are going to have LE catch up with them sooner or later.

The article was very forth coming about the way LE goes about their business in regards to escorts, so it's certainly no mystery, and IMO required reading for any lady who wants to "work" in SD. We can also assume SD vice reads this board and probably has a VIP membership to post their phony reviews and threads, because they're setting up clients as well as escorts. I am curious if I have been contacted through PM by any LE types about traveling ladies.......

I know the cops have a tough job to do, but I can picture them sitting around their cop bars after work, swilling cheap beer, and yucking it up over the good looking lady in the lace nighty they busted the night before. All in all, a pretty depressing picture. MfSD.

I never give ANY detailed info in PM for just this reason.

Fortunately for me, when I visit SD, I usually have the time to go to TJ. It seems like every time I think things are relaxing in your fair city (I live about 4 hours away but visit somewhat frequently), and I start getting comfortable with the idea of seeing one of the visiting or local ladies, I read here that our friends with apparently nothing better to do start on another of their guerilla wars against the hobby. So it's off to TJ I go again for some predictable and safe fun with one or more of the incall, massage or bar girls down there. Too bad for me as there are a few SD ladies I would love to spend time with. But, as Buffalo Springfield said many years ago, "Paranoia strikes deep. Into your life it will creep. It starts when you're always afraid. Step out of line the man comes and takes you away." (Sorry for the reminiscence.) I always hold out hope that we as a society will adopt a more healthy libertarian approach to the hobby (and many other issues) but I doubt it will happen in my lifetime... or before my 52 year old willie decides it's time to retire

Same here. I only give information to hobbyists that have a good and long running record of reviews.

Thanks to the fellows that provided me with your perspectives.  It appears that I must now work on my spanish and head to the boarder.  I too, am familiar with the LE crackdown, just one year ago in Nashville, no fewer than 16 local pleasure centers were closed in the city (hence, the term "Nasvegas" no longer applies).
