Marriot in Solana Beach is undergoing some renovation and I believe the prices are lower as a result. However, I found my jacuzzi suite dark and awkward and a bit depressing.
I need help. Any suggestions for nice hotel suites with jacuzzi in San Diego? I have gotten a couple of suggestions (thanks Sedona!) but those didn't pan out. Price not the overriding concern. Thanks for any information or advice!
I hope I don't repeat any suggestions from any one else, but I am the conneisseur of hot tubs. I like the INN Suites on el cajon blvd. It is the haunted hotel. They have a great two room suite with a jacuzzi and even a back door entrance(as in a real door, the door connected to the wall and that you walk thru--for all you who may have been thinking something else). It is reasonable priced, has two bathrooms and a great big pool outside. And a great breakfast on top of that. Have fun. Also, the Doubletree in hotel circle that used to be the Regency. THey aren't as cheap but pretty nice rooms. And of course, the all time winner if cheeseball and "Are we being filmed?" arent a problem, the Dolphin. Bye ...

I've heard about this place called Tubs that some providers like to meet at. Were is it located, what is it like and how much do they charge? Is it a good place for a "date"?
The Tubs is a fun place. While located in a part of SD that I least prefer, it is very clean and well run. They have very strict rules, and enforce them - which is good. It is very inexpensive, and a fun time. For me, I don't go there because, again, don't care to travel that direction, and because it lacks the sophistication and atmosphere that I prefer. If you do go, ask for the VIP room so that you'll have your own bathroom (!). You should know that the bed is 'child sized'. Rather than go there for a 'date', I would only go there if I happened to be in that part of town anyway, was with my personal life person, and we just had a spur of the moment thought and desire. Many enjoy it.
