I like to schedule a two hour appointment for my first time with a provider. That way I feel we get a chance to know each other a little (I'm a bit of a romantic that way) and don't feel rushed.

But on my last couple of visits the first hour has been ALL small talk (pets, roommates, sports, cars) and only in the second hour has any action taken place (and not very much of that).

Both of the ladies in question have had really good, consistent reviews about how hot they are and how quickly they get started.  But that leaves me with a question (or two).

Ladies: As your "date" do you expect me to be somewhat aggressive and move things along quickly?  If I don't make any particular demands, do things just tend to move along slowly?  I thought I was being polite, and letting "you" set the pace, but maybe I was too passive.

Or is a two hour appointment really too long?  If you can get all the business done in one hour, then why waste two?  Maybe it's a case of "familiarity breeds contempt" -- one hour is good, two is just boring.

(Disclaimer: I know that YMMV.  Maybe I'm taking all this too personally.  I like late morning appointments.  Maybe the ladies had both just happened to have a rough night the night before, and were a little slow getting up to speed.  I realize that our activities are more art than science.)

Anyway -- I would love to hear your thoughts on (1.) Preferred behavior from a client, and
(2.) How long is your ideal appointment
