25 arrested in S.D. police prostitution stingUNION-TRIBUNE March 5, 2001 Twenty-five men were arrested on charges of soliciting sex during a San Diego police vice squad sting in Barrio Logan, police said Saturday.The men sought sex from police officers who were posing as prostitutes Friday evening, investigators said.The men were booked into county jail and their vehicles were impounded, police said. Two of the men also were arrested on charges of felony narcotics possession, police said.Similar stings are planned throughout the city to decrease street prostitution, police said.
