I haven't been playing much in the past 2 years and havent paid much attention to it. I used to recognize the names of both providers and hobbyists but it seems like a lot of new names.  People quit? Go utr? Just stop reviewing?

I get the impression that a number of providers have gone UTR or retired in the last year or so.

I think the local site that closed down also hurt the local scene as well.

Trust me, I know quite a few of those ladies and though I had left that site already LE didn't contact a single lady. They didn't even contact high profile hobbyists. They went after the "Big Fish" and that was it. Now, the ladies may have been afraid to return and moved away or retired

Great point.  Where in the world did the typical 300 hour rate go?  A whole thread could be devoted to the current public pricing schedule.  Asking rates are through the roof.

That fee stayed for my few loyal Guys.  I see once a month.  
I'm such a bad girl... But, it's nice to have and enjoy my Selected friends.  
After all, it's my business.

I was very paranoid after that bust. I abandoned everything and started over. New phone, new e-mail, new TER and HX accounts (gave up years of reviews and whitelists). I hated the idea that LE could potentially monitor me, however unlikely that is.

If you're wondering where everyone on this board went, they disappeared after too many threads turned into price discussions.

I have to agree with you, the asking price is crazy, most often the higher rate is not getting a better date. Not all the time but most often. I used to hobby 2 to 4 times a week when the old site was around, now I'm down to maybe once every couple weeks. Price went up, quality went down, before all the ladies lash out on me this is just my experience, there still are some awesome ladies here with fair rates.

I notice alot of old faces that have new names both hobbiest and providers.  Yes, some have moved on for various reasons but that always happened...

I am very well established on another site which is the main go to on the East Coast (still use said site for out of town clientele) I am still trying to get a good grasp of SD hobby culture. Would LOVE to connect with a few local ladies. Used to having a group of girls back in NY to share business/travel tips, refs, alerts, referrals etc.

Agree with other folks who said when the other site shut down we mostly scattered to the wind. Based on that I took a vacation from the hobby for a bit, then reconnected with my ATF who had stopped being in the biz and that's how I met my needs. Dipping my toe back in the public pool now.
