Key Points for a ladies Website..

I personally like simple sites with no more than say 6 pages or so. I like to start with an "About" page, where I can learn something about the provider -- statistics, what she likes, a taste of her personality and who she is. A photo page is a must -- the more photos the better. Preferably RECENT photos. A page with rates and services offered (not explicit) is a must. I also like a page with extracts from TER reviews (I especially like it when a provider quotes from the VIP sections). And a contact page with email/phone number. I personally like to stay off the radar so email is my preferred mode of contact. I guess some guys like to bring gifts, so a gift page might be okay, though I am not a fan.

PLEASE make sure the site at least appears NOT to have been put together by an amateur -- I'm willing to pay more to a provider whose site looks like she merits it. Calendars don't do much for me -- I keep an eye on the various available now boards here on TER and elsewhere when I want to connect. And please, please, please keep the site up to date. I hate it when it looks like no one has updated the site for a couple of years.

I really like SexyBexy's site (and I'm praying she'll wander down from Seattle one of these days): http://www.sandiegobexy.com

Hi Gentlemen,

I'm working on some updates and things. I would really apprecaite any input.
I am wondering what key things you look for if a lady has a website.
I know the most traffic is pics, rates, contact. I was wondering if things like calendars, clear directions on how she likes to be contacted, menu style,etc..make a difference?
I myself dont' like forms to fill out, but I did add a calendar I'm testing.

Are there any little things that you find helpful? Or stand out when you view a site?
How do you feel about "enter" pages?

Thank you in advance,
Arden

Simple and MAC friendly (no flash.)  Unless you plan on touring a lot I don't find Calendars that useful - they have an "Agency" website aire to them. Locked galleries nsm - they feel like someone is trolling for email addresses or membership fees. You hit the nail on the head in your post; pix, donation, service. Interestingly enough, the nicest websites I've seen were from Providers in NE Canada - most scream "build it yourself kit of parts.".

For Web presence in general I know my company has focused on being mobile device friendly - it is the fastest growing technology market and provides even more browsing privacy than say sitting at your desk. I have to imagine the vast majority of gentlemen out there are using their iPhone/Android/Tablet to view sites and these devises prefer simplicity over complicated graphics and interface. A classic case of "KISS".

One last thing - high resolution images please. If you're worried about people using them without your permission there are ways to protect them. But there is nothing worse than clicking on a thumbnail and getting a grainy pixelated version of the same image. Hope this helped. I toured your site and it's actually very nice - other not loading correctly on my iPhone lmao.

AM if you don't like texting then a polite autoresponse pointing your suitor to your website screening form is totally appropriate. Texting is the trend however - outside this board 90% of my hobbling communication is via text.

There are a few things on ladies' websites that will cause me to immediately discard any idea of wanting to see them.  First and foremost let's call it "bait and switch" wherein a lady locks the gallery except for the pics of her holding her dog and wearing an ankle to neck spinster outfit and shows folders of supposedly more provocative pics that can ostensibly be opened only if I become a VIP or trusted friend.  This involves back and forth emails for passwords, etc.  Then, after all that foolishness, she hits me with the "for only $7.99 per month you can have access to...." pitch.  Game over...no sale.

I also don't "do" forms.  If an intelligently worded polite email which gives my handle and offer of references, a complementary mention of her reviews and a general idea of when I might want to see her doesn't produce an equally intelligent polite response that indicates she might be available when I am and a request for reference info, I move on. I realize ladies with websites probably get tons of cranks and nuisance emails, but I would think they should have the time to sift thru the email to find the ones that appear to be writtten by somebody with a sincere interest in meeting them as opposed to the ones that say," I wanna see your......!"

While i understand privacy and security are paramount for all the ladies (and guys too) I find I seldom contact ladies who blur their facial features in photos, or more accurately who won't send a not blurred photo via email.  As somebody else said earlier in this thread there are ways to protect your pics from unauthorized use although I admit I don't know how to do that, because I have trouble computer basics like cut and paste. I think in my case faces are very important.  My ATF is a woman I wouldn't have chosen to see if she had blurred her face  because her body type wasn't what I'd normally look for, but her face is so beautiful I wanted to meet her.  If I hadn't I'd have missed out on many incredible experiences and a great friend.

Just my 2 cents...

Locked galleries - no;  forms - don't mind; Calendar - yes. However, yours seems to have no way to get to next month(s).

I would agree that calendars are not as useful unless you travel extensively. Then it is really mostly useful just to show where you will be on what days. Actually scheduling through a calendar can be painful. And most sites don't have proper calendar functionality. I often ignore them for that reason.

Locked pics makes no sense at all to me. I concur that higher quality pics is better. One nice feature you don't find in enough CMS's is the ability to resize pictures based on the receiving device. I built a CMS that does this, among other things. It is a really nice feature.

I think most ladies should have fewer better pictures in general. Videos are entirely optional, although well-done and very short videos can be a powerful selling tool IMHO. I have built sites for ladies with thousands of pics and dozens of videos. These are not well supported by most CMS's which is why I built one myself. My point is that it will take some work to go beyond the basics. Fortunately though, most ladies don't need all that much extra and as has been said, keeping is simple will bring the most bang for the buck.

Simple is better.  Fancy transitions or moving graphics really are not necessary.

As for reviews, I simply do not trust quoted reviews on a lady's site.  A link to a known review site (like TER) is much better and makes it easier for you.

Sound OFF by default please.

I agree with previous reply too, generic text reply to strangers should be perfectly fine and would not offend me.  I still like to hear your voice before a first meeting.

Most calendar's on sites are incomplete.  I don't think a calendar is needed unless the lady travels a lot and is only in town for a few days.

i prefer photos only on my site vs sending via email.

some people collect photos and save them in the "spank bank".
my site does not allow right click so certain more revealing photos are not collectible.

that is the worst thing when at Starbucks and your surfing the sites and this sexy, stripper music comes on and everyone in the place looks at you.  not a good thing, in my opion.... B)~

It is annoying. But anyone that wants pictures bad enough just has to screen shot the page and take everything else out and still have your pic.
Just like they can remove layers and see blurred photos. Once pics are up they are up.
You can't protect them 100% there is always a techie way.

So I wouldn't trust your not in a spank bank yourself.
Arden's right, mila.

The "Printscreen" button...a Spank Banker's best friend. LOL  Haven't heard that term before, but I guess it's apt for some. lol  I've certainly saved a few pics before, but never to "spank" to.

But to Arden's question about Locked Galleries, in over a year on this site, I've only ever gone to the trouble to gain access to ONE such gallery.  Every other time, I've passed.  It's just not worth the effort, when there are so many gorgeous girls out there who don't require jumping through hoops to see their naked pics.  I would strongly discourage locking your photo galleries.  (I suppose a compromise would be to have some less risque galleries open, and some more revealing ones locked--but even that's annoying.)

I say, let it all hang out there.  Of course, I'm a hobbyist.  You're the one taking all the risk with your web presence.  So do whatever you feel comfortable with.

Good luck!

Matt

not all information should be shared especially in a business where privacy is difficult to keep. u essentially just taught anyone who didn't know already how to steal someone's photos. if i had made the mistake of posting that as u did, i would have said OOPS and asked the post to be removed before too many people learn of this photo stealing technique instead of calling names and taking things personally. but then again, you're calling this jr.high, well an adult would know not to post info that helps the dangerous people. an adult would have posted "there are ways around anti-right click" instead of describing the way to get around it. i understand u made a mistake which is why i posted that it wasn't the best idea to post as u did and asked your reply to be removed. this did not happen because some people think it is common knowledge (which it sure is now if not before).

nothing catty, just pointing out that u may be enabling assholes a new ability in stealing and stalking. u have PMed me in the past asking if there was beef between us and i told u there was not and it was simply that some of your replies are different in opinion than mine. if u take offense or feel it has something to do with you that is your hang up and your self esteem that is in question, not my replies as they are never derogatory toward you or anyone for that matter unless they hide under an alias. i have complimented you and said nice things when people ask about you. do i say we are friends? of course not. i am not friends with providers and if my aloof replies are taken negatively, again, that is your issue and not mine.

good luck.

you made a booboo posting info on how to steal images, now learn from it and realize that not every gent out there knows all the stalker techniques.

***
i read and reread the bits pertaining to what we are discussing.
you posted asking for input on websites.
i posted that having ur site right-click proof would help protect images.
you replied that it was essentially a pointless comment as there was a way to get the pics anyway and went into detail of how to do so...
***

so, to sum up: i replied to your topic, you scoffed at my attempt to input something helpful and how help protect images then you proceeded to teach people (possibly dangerous people or a past stalker of someones) how to do what we are attempting to prevent...

...and i'm getting the shit can rite now from you? really? this is ludicrous. i have no beef with you so why try and start some?

for u to scoff at my concern of you posting content that will help the crazies makes me wonder about your understanding of safety. i will ask again in this reply to have u request the removal of the content before more and more people read it and learn how to do something they may not have known.

u seem motivated to stir up a lynch mob toward me? why?
i have nothing against you and you take the offense when i comment on a thread of yours you don't like. its a discussion, not kiss arden's ass and agree with what she has to say or get into an endless reply reply reply debate and be called names by her. no. thats silly.

if u don't want to hear different viewpoints or get replies you may have off-feelings about then i suggest not posting at all. not everybody will agree with you and occasionally we all post things that maybe weren't the best in hindsight (which is again why i am asking u to please request the removal of the info that will teach the stalkers new tricks).

i'm down for some lube wrestling with her tig ol bitties! nom nom
just no lube in the hair! ;)

as i said, it is NO beef with her or any other provider on this board.
just me posting my concerns and opinion.
i never call names or speak down to anyone saying things are "jr high" or anything.
i surely express myself passionately but never disrespectfully (unless the person hides behind an alias).

See, there's an idea waiting to happen...a mobile app for reserving time, and being able to "securely" communicate with you...hmmmmmm...maybe something that needs to be written, and marketed...a couple of people had already asked talked to me about a marketing app along these same lines...

I'm sorry, Mila, but using "print screen" is hardly some new trick, or any trick at all. Even if one didn't know how to use it, a 15-second Google search would turn that up. Informing people how to dig through their web browser cache to turn up the image by itself would qualify more as a "trick", but even that can be found without much of a search. I can pretty much guarantee you that Arden did not give one person a new "trick" with what she posted.

Any image displayed on a website can be captured, somehow. Even if you had no idea of how to do it, you could always take a picture of your monitor then edit the file. :)

I guess I'm really old school, but I still prefer to give and get good phone.  Email and text don't give you insight and they never disappear.  This is about making a connection, isn't it?

when u read it the way u originally phrased it it reads that kids in jr.high know how to not be catty. the english language has certain structural organizations that need to be used to make sure the subject of the sentence is the piece u are addressing when saying what needs to stop.

instead of:

"You stop being catty toward me anytime Mil. Kids in Jr. High know how to do this."

try:

"kids in jr.high know how to use the technique mila, you can stop being catty any time"

but enough english lessons.
:)
now u see why there was some confusion. :p
