I recall seeing a thread where Goldie had a fake positive review (and I believe it stuck, even though she disputed???), but I've also seen comments indicating people have had fakes removed.  

What kind of success rate do ladies have in getting them removed? I've had my first fake (unfortunately a negative), and I am certain the encounter never happened at all as I don't see very many people, so I know every single person I've seen since I've been doing this.  I can't think of anyone who would write this.  The review says many things about me that are patently untrue, and anyone who knows me would recognize that there is no way it can be accurate (like having clothes that smell of smoke when I avoid smoke at all costs).

I don't know the answer to your specific question re success rate. However, based on what you have said here, I suggest you contact TER with your concern, and ask them to check with the reviewer and have him produce PM or email communications he has from you that confirm you ever had a date. If he cannot provide such evidence, I would hope TER personnel would delete the review.

WHY it is fake, TER moderators are usually pretty reasonable about removing the fakes.  A recent Kgirl had one removed that claimed she gave BB Greek when she doesn't even offer greek.  I would think that you pointing out that it is fake because he stated your clothes smell of smoke when you are a non-smoker would be enough to persuade them.  Fakes are usually evident from the details, and not the overall review.  If you show how the fake part is hurting your business (only a small percentage of the hobby community will see a provider that smokes), I think you have a good chance of getting it removed.  

Go to your review, click "problem report" and state your case.

Thanks CDL, that's very helpful to know that something has actually helped with removal of fakes (I've been getting responses that it's really difficult to get something removed).  I didn't meet this person at all (it's not a date gone wrong but rather a date that didn't happen), but I've been wondering how to prove that.  I'm not just a non-smoker, but I am *extremely* sensitive to smoke; only a small exposure makes me feel ill, and a longer exposure will make me wheeze like an asthmatic.  On my website, I make it clear that I won't see smokers.  Hopefully, my adamant & inflexible stance on smoking will be enough.

he actually said you probably were not a smoker, but your clothes smelled of smoke. Maybe he's SUPER sensitive (or just imagined it). He said you smelled of alcohol. Have you been on a hotel outcall where you stopped for a drink first?

He also said you exchanged emails, unless he claims to delete immediately, if the appointment really happened he should be able to prove it. Most providers with no listed phone number do give out a number to confirmed clients. Another proof if you do this and he can't provide the number.

If you're clear and concise in your problem report (as CDL suggested) it should get the proper attention

I agree with what the others have said. Be sure to reference your web site because you are very specific about smoke etc.. Also, mention you don't advertise your phone number and I hope you will have success in getting the fake removed.  

Kerri, I know the review must upset you and I do hope you can get it removed. If not, you have a great rep and several positive reviews. I doubt it will hurt you much.  

I recently posted a "Problem Report" on a rip-off artist when I recently saw her advertised on BP using the same old add but with a different phone number. TER denied my report twice without comment. I don't understand that because the woman has TER reviews under the old number and TER says they want new phone numbers so anyone have an idea on why the denial?

My phone number was initially listed on my TER profile, so that info is out there even if it has not been listed on TER for a while (and in fact, where it was listed most recently may have something to do with the review - I've been successfully filing DMCA complaints due to unauthorized use of my photos on illegitimate ad sites, and I suspect those are run by a hobbyist).  I hope a phone number alone isn't considered proof that he met me.  He will not have any of those juicy email exchanges, though.

I'm the one who is super sensitive about smoke. My dates who've seen me in public know I avoid smoke like the plague.

I've never been on an outcall where I stopped for a drink first.  I'm not a teetotaler, so I will occasionally share wine or a fine Belgian beer *with* a date, but only during a date, and even then, I don't get drunk (I drink for the taste and am only a light drinker).

This date absolutely didn't happen at all.  I know who I've emailed and met.  Maybe I've been lucky, but I've really enjoyed my dates, and I have confidence the feeling was reciprocated (or else my dates deserve Academy Awards).  I've said this before, but I actually can remember every person I've seen (remember I'm new and part-time!)... and most are repeat dates, so the number of new dates for me is limited. I know this date is completely fabricated and is definitely not the result of some strange misunderstanding.  

Now it's just a waiting game for me to see what additional info TER requires.

I dunno of that being much of a problem in SD, but in other places, instances of an ad on, say Backpage being cloned but with a new phone number have been known to happen. IIRC some of the Sacto ROB crew used to "borrow" handles of providers with high review scores to find their clients/victims.

for a member/reviewer to report a rip off is to write a rip off review of the provider (performance score of 1).  I think the only way they will take down a review is 1) if the reviewer requests it, or 2) if the provider or her agency/booker can convince the moderators that the review is fake and that the reviewer never saw the provider.  The provider needs to show evidence of what makes the review a fake (the easiest way is if the review content alleges facts that conflict with the providers website or ads, and how these misrepresentations are damaging her business.  They will not take it down simply because the scores are low, or the provider did not like the review.  Unfortunately, members/reviewers are entitled to their subjective opinions regardless of whether they are reasonable or not.

and ask him to request it taken down!

If you really didn't see him:  
He will probably comply
If he doesn't, start contacting there other girls he has revved and get his story
If you don't give up - you can probably get it done.

If you saw him:
Ask him please and who knows...

So I don't think she needs to worry about this one review from this jackass. It confounds me that someone would spend their free time fabricating a negative review.  

I think guys with an ax to grind are trolling in every city, but most of men would never stoop so low.  I'm sure the positives will greatly outweigh this one negative.  Life goes on, move ahead.

Sometimes they know things that we do not know. The guys don't have to tell us who they are here on TER and I can see why sometimes they would want to be anonymous.

I only had one suspicious review left up.  I disputed a review that didn't sound like my routine and the guy did not reply to me when I tried to verify who he was.  TER left the review up because they believed that it was a true review.  

But this person only had three reviews including mine and the other two ladies were pretty new.  One of them told me she had no record of having seen the guy and the other lady did not reply to me.  If they decided to leave it because he had written two other successful reviews then they could all three have been fake.

That was my only situation that I was uncertain about. Other disputed reviews have been removed or determined to be real and left up and I have agreed with TERs decisions.  The only problem is if somebody's writing a fake review to retaliate against somebody it might take a month to get it taken down by then a lot of people have already seen it.

If it's fake, TER will help you to the best of their ability.  They try to make the right decisions

But I'm sure there are many more who would agree with me that as a hobbyist and a long-time member of TER, you can smell a rat review fairly easily. That ad stood out as such an outlier that it is very easy to dismiss as non-authentic. I have never seen you, but I have been interested in contacting you, and still plan to do so. That ad did not/does not discourage me in the slightest. Hopefully it gets taken down, but I think most inquiring minds can see through it.

Aside from it lowering you average score by .1, most hobbiest know a bogus review and discount them as a disgruntled pencil dick....

Based on a wealth of circumstantial evidence (and there is much more than I post here, some of which I don't want to say in case TER will still consider it), the website owner of skipsweb.com, skipsweb.net, ultragfe.com, andreamoorehead.com, vipvictoriarose.com, kjh2o.com, and gfeconnections.com is the person who wrote the review even though we have never met.  Those websites are all related either through links, indirect links, etc.  

The most damning evidence is that the very first girl he reviewed, Amara, uses amara.gfeconnections.com as her website; the sites I made DMCA claims against and that reviewer are linked! Coincidence, I think not.  I'll also add that I first attempted to address my copyright issues without going to his ISP, but I was unsuccessful with my nice approach.

I still don't know if it will be resolved, but that last line of evidence makes me confident about the whys and wherefores of the review.
