Here are some tips:
learn the guidelines for posting on the sites you use to be sure your ads aren't removed
choose a good location: nothing scares clients more than a motel
advanced booking: offer incentives to people who schedule in advance but be sure to be ready for them
photos: invest in professional photos. since doing new photos a year ago i have notice a definite increase in inquiries and bookings
don't complain: complaining it's slow or whatever is a major turn off. most guys aren't going to say to themselves "oh she isn't busy, I can't wait to book her" they will think "she must not be busy for a reason"
find a duo partner who might have established clients they can introduce you to
reviews: if you don't have any, get some! they help let people know you're legit and offer what you say
link to your reviews: if you're reviewed email TER support and have them link your reviews to your account. then under your name when you post there is a link directly to your reviews for easy glance at your details for potential dates.
twitter: great for touring and repeat friends who want to keep in touch or to entice new friends
homepage: become a DOT com. it's less than 100/year with web template and domain name. it makes you look more professional and shows an investment in your business and services.
check the ISO board here: also replying to peoples posts here is a good way to get noticed.
these are the easy ones to get on
