Musical Web Sites

I am curious about opinions regarding ladies' web sites that have music...

1. Does it add to the site?
2. Is it a loud suprise?
3. Is the music used by those pre-packaged websites uniformly insipid?
4. When trying to quietly look up a lady, while at work, and the music starts to play, is it a deal breaker?
5. Do you just hit the mute button right away and go onto enjoy the site?

the same answers here that you did to your post on the other site.  Most guys do not like the music.  It may be one of those gender things, just like most of us don't care what color eyes the lady has.

In my case, it is also generational.  I grew up without having music plugged into my ear.  If I want it, I'll turn on the radio; I don't want it forced on me.

I satisfy that by having learned from the past (having some very loud music come on) I simply keep my speakers plugged into the headphones.

Music on a web site doesn't seem to effect me one way or the other. I do usually mute my sound when I'm looking at a provider's site anyway. I certainly don't think it adds anything to a site, but if there is music, I wouldn't call it a deal breaker, either.

on the other site.  Nobody liked music.  Many more responses (and strong ones) than here.  Same goes for heavy Flash usage that bogs down the process.
