Are guys treated better if shaved

I have been a hobbiest for a long time. A provider the other night told me for the first time I would be treated much better if I was shaved ...down there, not my face :-)

Personally I love my women shaved and understand the hair in the teeth thing. The idea of taking a razor to my 60 year old parts is kind of scary but if it really makes a difference I would think about it. The problem for me is I am hairy...chest, legs, everything but back. I think it would look funny with a big unshaved center, but for better service it might be worth it.

I don't know if she meant just the boys or the entire area.
1. Do you ladies prefer shaved or does it make a difference
2. Are many of you guys shved these days or does the idea of a razor there scare you too?

as long as u are clean there should really be no issue IMO.

if i am given the choice i prefer natural. but really no preference.

lmao - this sooooo borders on TMI.  take it from someone who once went down this road (past tense);

1.  it can be done - a long hot shower, a really good razor (Fusion) and tons and tons of patience
2.  NON ALCOHOL after shave balm!
3.  realize that once you embark down this road, maintenance is key. if you think 5 o'clock shadow on your face is unattractive ... no one wants to grind with a porcupine
3.  no more boxers - CHAFFING!  boxer briefs from now on my friend.

as our lady friends have attested to, in the end it's a lot of work and not particularly necessary. "well groomed" can simply be some hedge clipping to hack back the jungle without having to turn it into the 18th at Torrey Pines.  for me, I road bike, so I really don't need one more part of my body to shave

I've been doing this hobby thing for about a month.  Have met 4-providers and 2 have spontaneously commented on appreciating my grooming down there.  1-provider said it was why she rimmed me, but had never done it before "in her life."  [She'd only providing a month so YMMV]

As I really like a tongue going everywhere (including my ass) , it really seems to serve me with civiis too.  

The good news is I don't use a manual razor.  I use a Phillips Norelco Body Groomer [$49 at your local CVS].  

Also when you first start shaving it does notically enhance your sensitivity, making for an extra erotic experience but YMMV.

I always shave above and below the equator before I meet up with my lady friends. And it never fails that I always get a complement for keeping the boys smooth and clean. It's only fair that we guys have to clean up from head to toe. Would you like to date a lady who takes a lax approach to her own hygiene? I think not.
