A man's age is something impressive, it sums up his life: maturity reached slowly and against many obstacles, illnesses cured, griefs and despairs overcome, and unconscious risks taken; maturity formed through so many desires, hopes, regrets, forgotten things, loves. A man's age represents a fine cargo of experiences and memories.
~Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Wartime Writings 1939-1944, translated from French by Norah Purcell

Forgive me if I offend the younger ladies on this site with this muse.
I was sitting here on the veranda with a glass of my favorite, thinking of the last meeting I had with a lady. she was over 40. It was sublime. No preconcieved notions, no pretense, no hoop-la. we were who we were, enjoying each others company (and bodies) with laughter and honesty. I remeber having her just sit in front of me on the bed as I admired her face, neck, breasts... I am drawn to 40+ (aka mature) ladies, MILF's if you will (some GILF's). As I sat here I wondered why? maturity (emotional), honesty, experience (skill), and beauty. Yes beauty. I love the basic form of a woman, and as she ages it takes on ... attractiveness, allurement, class? Now, I am not talking about those who let themselves go, but who have tried to stay attractive inspite of health issues and gravity. You know what I mean. That said I know it's more than the physical attraction. Vintage, if you will allow me again, stirs remeberances of the past, emotional good times, places and relationships. the Mercedes is my favorite car. My first was in high school, 180b. Bought it for $200 cash with a blown engine. I rebuilt it and drove it for the next 5 years. Take a look at the 1955 MB Gullwing and then the 2012 edition. No comparison. Both are beauties in thier own right. When pressed I would take the "55". It has great curves and stirs fantastic memories for me. Vintage women, like my wine, have aged to perfection. I look at the deep color, smell the fragance, and taste the fruit...nothing better.
Drink well my friends...
