Thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention.

I would go to the police if he raped or robbed me.  I know it's scarey.  But I would come forward and get him back for overpowering me, humiliating me,  and stealing from me.  One time when I first started providing about three years ago I had someone who kept texting me over and over again about 30 times.  Maybe 50.  He said,  "... I know your real name is:   xxxxx.  I know you live at xxxxx.  I'm going to come rape you then I'm going to kick your ass.  Then my friends are going to rape you and kick your ass..."  It was probably someone I had refused to see.  I didn't know much about screening back then.

Anyways, I did call the police.  The police officer was very supportive.  He knew the work I did and he didn't care.  So, I can say from experience that it is possible for the police to care about providers being a victim.

I didn't know if it would work like that or not.  All I knew was this guy threatened me for hours.  I told him I would call the police if he didn't stop.  He didn't believe I would because I was a provider and he continued to threaten me.  I never knew who it was or why they were threatening me.   As far as I know I never was contacted by him again after the police showed up and called him.

The Craigs List killer (has everyone seen that Life TV movie by now?)  probably robbed way more girls than they ever knew about because ladies were too scared to come forward.

I don't know this for sure, but I certainly like to believe that the police care keeping women safe and putting this guy away for violent crimes than they do about harassing the girls who come forward.

If he's hurt you, I hope you will get him back now by going to the police.
