Wonder what's going on - it happened to me 2-3 times this Fall.
I would call up an all-8s lady, asking for a next-day appointment, and she goes "I have one appointment at 10 O'clock and another client coming in at 1, so I can squeeze you in at 11:30".

We all know its a biz, but let's keep up the fantasy - instead, please say something like "I have to wash the dog at 10 and have a dishwasher repairman coming at 2, so, let's meet at 11:30".

Remember, its the little things that count.

Agree totally.  

No ones to know they are not the first of the day or getting sloppy seconds, thirds etc.  That is just a total killer for the mood so to speak and then the question of safety is a concern when you see a high volume provider.

And not all of us take only this kind of apt. I am a Certified Massage Therapist and have many therapeutic clients mixed in with my playdates.
But I do agree that it shows no class to

That way I'm always fresh, hot, ready, and never misspeak when scheduling.

Sometimes another appointment can be for a myriad of events - not only Hobby-type. Just a thought.
